Raven's Log
Stardate 4.19.04
Random notes, assorted odds and ends and generally nothing useful.

It's almost as if magicians Penn and Teller read my journal entry because they just did an episode of their fantastic Showtime TV show Bullshit about how drugs should be legalized. If I didn't convince you that they should be legalized, then watch this episode and you most certainly will.

Playboy Mansion party was for Hugh Hefner's birthday. Getting in there, security was tighter than Fort Knox or a virgin on prom night. Special props to my close personal associate Jonny Fairplay for getting me the keys to the castle. It was a pajama party, which meant that every girl there was in lingerie. Probably 3-to-1 girls to guy and nothing I can tell you will do it justice so I leave it to your imagination. In the immortal words of the legendary Stan Lee, 'nuff said.

Dissed by Ric Flair - wow! I don't know whether to be insulted or amused. I believe that he said he wouldn't spend a dime to see me headline. Well, he wouldn't have to. I'll get him some comp seats. I think I'd actually be insulted if I thought he'd seen enough of my work to comment. Honestly, I doubt hes seen much of my stuff at all. Besides, he only had a sentence or two to say about me while he eviscerated Mick Foley - wow! Last person I saw buried that deep was Uma Thurman in Kill Bill 2. But at least she crawled her way out. Oh well, it's better than being dissed by a jobber, I guess. At least the dis came right from the best.

I haven't had the chance to watch my Chris Harris match back, but it felt really really good. Of course, occassionally, that doesn't mean anything because sometimes you think you have good matches and the way they're filmed makes them look like shit. And then sometimes you have matches that couldn't possibly be good and, thanks to the magic of television, look like a 5-star bonanza. Sometimes, you just never know. In fact, I was so happy with that match that I've actually not watched it intentionally because I was so happy when I did it & that's the way I wanted to remember it. It was the first time Chris Harris had ever had a match called to him in the ring on pay per view and I thought he did phenomenal. It is so much more fun and creatively rewarding thinking on your feet and calling it in the ring by listening and reacting to crowd response.

Deadwood: I can't believe they killed Wild Bill Hickock.

Alias: I can't believe she has a sister. Although, I really hope they don't have her play her own sister. I hope they get someone else to do it.

I thought Denzel Washinton was brilliant in Man on Fire and so was David Carradine in Kill Bill 2.

There's a whole journal entry that I've written but I haven't aired yet based on my England and Germany trip, but that seems like ages ago now and it may never see the light of day. Not that the entry was anything special, however, the trip really was.

Somebody hook me up with Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas.
