WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven vs. Matt Hardy: (06.30.02) - WWE Sunday Night Heat emanates tonight, exclusively on MTV, from the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. As we saw on the June 24th edition of WWE RAW, which also emanated from Cleveland, Ohio, Raven was banned from WWE RAW for life. This happened after he lost a "Loser Leaves RAW" match to his ECW nemesis Tommy Dreamer. Afterwards, as Raven was led out of the arena by security, he was ambushed by Matt Hardy in retribution for the attack he and the Undertaker coordinated against the Hardy Boyz on the 6/17 RAW. This is Raven's chance for ultimate payback against Matt Hardy for that added humiliation on RAW.

Raven makes his way down to the ring to "End of Everything" by the band Stereomud. Raven is still part of the RAW roster, but cannot appear on the RAW show itself because of the stipulation of the 6/24 RAW. They lock-up and Matt goes for the Side Effect right away, but is denied as Raven hits him with a drop-toe-hold out of the ring through the middle rope. Raven, in command, goes outside, grabs Matt and tosses him back in the ring, sets him up in the corner and drops him like carrion with a top rope knee-drop driver for a 2-count. Raven gets up and nails Matt with the "Mr. Wrestling II" kneelift for another 2-count. Matt recovers from the big knee and nails Raven with a page out of Raven's own handbook as he hits him with a Russian Legsweep. The two men trade blows until Matt cinches out a lariat and a reverse elbow for a 2 count from Jack Doan on Raven. Raven charges at Matt with a hard lariat, but Matt ducks it and hits Raven with a neckbreaker to set up the Hillbilly Legdrop for a 2-count on the denizen of the Bowery. Matt tries a Twist of Fate which Raven counters into the Raven Effect, but Matt reverses it into the Side Effect for a 2-count. Matt tries to finish off Raven with a gore, Raven ducks it and Matt crashes into the turnbuckle full-boar. He recovers and knocks Raven into the corner and tries to finish Raven off with a moonsault, but it was a ruse as Raven ducks the moonsault and rolls Matt Hardy up for the pinfall with his feet on the ropes for leverage to come out on top in this endeavor! Raven celebrates and Matt Hardy is incensed at his loss.

WINNER: Raven via Pinfall. (4:25)

WWE RAW: Raven Appearance: Opening Promo: (06.24.02) - Raven is at ringside tonight on RAW, live from Cleveland, Ohio as Vince McMahon gathers all the Superstars of the WWE RAW Brand. McMahon tells them that tonight he wants to see ruthless aggression, those wrestlers who want to be superstars must be ruthless and demonstrate that they want to succeed by any means necessary and he'll instigate that by setting up several matches tonight!

Backstage, Vince is talking with Sgt. Slaughter. Vince says he forgot to mention something at the start of RAW. He feels there are certain people who just don't belong on RAW, period. He's going to start getting rid of certain people, one at a time, week by week. Tommy Dreamer is one of them, the other is "this other guy, Raven." Vince says they used to be stars in ECW, another company he put out of business. They had a go at stardom there. Tonight, he's going to give them another go, for the last time. The loser of the match will never appear on RAW - ever again!

Loser Leaves RAW: Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven - RAW comes back from break and Tommy Dreamer is already in the ring. There are security people completely surrounding the ring, ready to escort the loser of the match off of RAW immediately once the match is over. Raven makes his way down to the ring to the strains of Stereomud and does the Crucifix pose on the turnbuckle for perhaps the last time on RAW. Lawler states the stakes have never been this high in a match and Raven and Dreamer already have a long standing hatred from their days in ECW, so this is the ultimate climax to their legendary feud.

Raven locks up with Dreamer and forces him to a corner post where he charges up and rams him in the midsection several times. He pummels him with 3 blows to the head, following that up with kicks to the stomach using the ropes for leverage. Chad Patten makes him let go and Raven whips Dreamer to the ropes, nailing him with a clothesline from hell. Raven backs off and taunts Dreamer to get up. Dreamer staggers to his feet and Raven nails him with the "Mr. Wrestling II" kneelift for a 1-count.

Raven then picks up Dreamer and drags him to the turnbuckle and decapitates him with his off the top rope kneedrop driver for a two-count. J.R. says both men deserve the opportunity to earn a living but haven't earned Mr. McMahon's favor [Remember, it was Raven who cost McMahon's "Smackdown" brand the WWE Hardcore Championship at the start of the WWE Draft when he defeated Maven, making McMahon waste a draft pick in Maven]. Raven goes for the clothesline/bulldog combo, but Dreamer powers out. Both men exchange punches and Dreamer lariats Raven down and powerslams him for the 2 count.

Dreamer whips Raven to the ropes and charges at him, but Raven hits him with a boot to the face. Dreamer hits Raven with a Dreamer-Cutter for a 2-count. Dreamer tries to spear Raven, but eats turnbuckle post instead. Raven goes for the Raven effect, Dreamer reverses it into a Dreamer DDT for a 2-count. Dreamer goes for a Spiccolli Driver, but Raven reverses it into a Side-Effect [front face DDT] for a 2 count. J.R. makes a note that the loser not only is banned from RAW, but cannot go to Smackdown either. Dreamer then whips Raven into the ropes and hits the Spiccoli Driver on Raven for the pinfall and an upset victory over Raven. Raven is banned from RAW for life!

WINNER: Tommy Dreamer via Pinfall (2:23)

At the realization of his loss, Raven gets up and marches towards the entrance way, screaming that the loss was a bunch of crap. He is flanked by security who escort him out of the building. Raven starts screaming this entire situation is unfair and starts destroying television equipment backstage as he grabs his gear and leaves the building. As he is out in the parking structure, Matt Hardy is sitting on Raven's rental car, lying in wait to ambush Raven. He spears Raven against the wall and bashes his head against the wall again and then slams him head first on his rental car. Matt tells Raven to have a nice trip and he leaves Raven battered atop his rental car. Raven then starts screaming in a blind rage due to the night's events.

WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven & Steven Richards vs. The Hardy Boyz: (06.23.02) - WWE Sunday Night Heat on MTV emanates live tonight from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, the site of tonight's WWE King of The Ring on PPV! Tonight, The Hardy Boyz try to exact some revenge for themselves in a tag team match against the enigmatic poet of the macabre, Raven, after Raven instrumented their destruction on the 6/17 WWE RAW this past Monday at the hands of himself and the Undertaker!

The Hardy Boyz make their way out to the ring first, as they wait for Raven to show his face in the ring. "End of Everything" by Stereomud blares throughout the Nationwide Arena as Raven makes his way down to the ring accompanied by his former two-timw ECW tag team championship partner, Steven Richards. This is the first time Raven and Richards have teamed together as partners in a match since 1997 in ECW. Raven is wearing a brocade style cassock that he wore on RAW Monday night and is now sporting yellow contact lenses as well.

Raven gets in the ring to start the match against Matt Hardy, but as soon as the bell rings, he immediately tags out to Richards. They lock up and exchange blows. Richards sends Matt to the ropes and Raven holds Matt's legs, allowing Richards to nail Matt in the kidney area. Jimmy Korderas takes Richards off to the side and Raven capitalizes, hitting a jawbreaker on Matt over the top rope. Richards signals a suplex, but Matt reverses it into a snap suplex of his own. Matt tags in Jeff and they clean house on Richards, even hitting Poetry in Motion on Steven. Jeff takes control of the match, getting a 2-count after a legdrop to the groin. Richards whips Jeff to the ropes, ducks him on the way down, and Raven yanks the top rope down, forcing Jeff's momentum to cause him to fly out of the ring and slam himself on the canvas. Raven grabs the prone Jeff and tosses him back in the ring after kicking him in the stomach several times to give Steven a 2-count. Steven hits a suplex for another 2 count to no avail and tags the Raven in. Steven sets up Jeff on the corner post and Raven nails Jeff with a top rope kneedrop driver to the head. Raven then gets Jeff in a jawlock and starts screaming at Matt to look at what he was doing to Jeff. Raven bullies Jeff some more then tags out to Richards, who tortures Jeff in a Sabu-style camel clutch submission. Matt rallies the fans and Jeff's adrenaline lets him power out of it. Jeff gets a second win and nails Steven with a legdrop to the groin as Raven protests to Korderas. Raven yells at Korderas that Matt is running at him, and Korderas catches him, allowing Raven to slip away behind Korderas' back and nail a short dropkick on Jeff. Raven locks up Jeff in a full nelson so Steven can lay into him and then lays into Jeff with a telegraph clothesline from hell. He yells at Jeff to stand and then nails him with the "Mr. Wrestling II" kneelift for a 2 count. Raven then tags into Richards, who pins Jeff for 2 off a powerslam. Raven comes back in and gets nailed with a jawbreaker by Jeff. He immediately tags out to Steven, who gets an enzuiguri for his troubles.

Matt Hardy then gets tagged back in by Jeff, who cleans house on Steven Richards, but can't get his hands on the true target of his aggression, Raven. Matt hits the Hillbilly Legdrop off the top rope on Richards, but gets dragged out of the ring on the 2-count by Raven, who slams Matt into the turnbuckle post. Raven knocks the wind out of Matt with a kick to the stomach to set up and signal for the Raven Effect, but Matt reverses in into a Side Effect to stun Raven and recover. Raven rolls out of the ring and leaves the match at this point, after Steven Richards hits a Superkick for the 2 count on Matt. Steven starts yelling at Raven, asking why he abandoned him, but Raven just walks off towards the ring entrance and leaves, allowing Matt to hit the Twist of Fate and Jeff to apply teh Swanton for the pinfall win. J.R. notes that the Hardyz may have been successful in this match, but ultimately fail in their attempt to get retribution against Raven. Raven escapes, J.R. notes, but for how long?

WINNERS: The Hardy Boyz via Pinfall. (6:01)

WWE RAW: Raven vs. Jeff Hardy: (06.17.02) - WWE RAW hails live this week from Oakland, California. Tonight, RAW plays host to a rematch from last night on 6/16 on MTV Heat, as Raven once again takes on Jeff Hardy. Last night's match resulted in a DQ match when Jeff was unable to get a clean win over Raven and had to resort to using TV cables to choke out Raven, resulting in DQ win for the man from the Bowery.

Jeff Hardy makes his way out to the ring first in this one-fall contest. "End of Everything" by Stereomud then hits as Raven makes his way down to the ring to take on one half of Team Xtreme. They go to clips from the 6/16 Heat to trace Raven and Jeff Hardy's nascent rivalry. Raven has a new cassock with a Byzantine design on it. As Raven and Jeff pace the ring, The "Big Evil," Undertaker, makes his way out to the ramp to seemingly eye Hardy in this match. Raven and Jeff trade several slaps to the face before they lock up. Jeff hits a head scissor takedown and then clotheslines Raven over the ropes. Jeff runs the rail and clotheslines Raven down. In the ring, Jeff runs, but Raven tosses him out of the ring. Russian legsweep by Raven into the barrier. Back in the ring, Raven applies a facelock on Jeff. He goes up top and drops his knee driver onto Jeff's back, which in turn, drives Jeff's head into the mat. Ross mentions how unique Raven and Jeff's looks are and they're both very much "Generation X" wrestlers. Clothesline by Raven, then a running kneelift for a 2 count. Jeff hits a jawbreaker on Raven, tries a kick, but gets caught and he hits an enzuiguri. Raven whips Jeff into the ropes, tries a dropkick, but Jeff grabs the ropes to stop short of the kick and hits a legdrop to the groin on Raven for 2. Jeff blocks the Superplex attempt and tosses Raven down, hitting a Swanton Bomb for the 3 count victory in this close and hard fought match. Undertaker then eyes Jeff Hardy and leaves.

WINNER: Jeff Hardy via Pinfall. (3:49)

Raven Appearance: Undertaker vs. Matt Hardy - Earlier tonight, Lita, who was injured months ago on the set of the now defunct FOX series "Dark Angel" told Matt sometimes it's not worth it. Tonight, having stacked up numerous enemies, The Hardy Boyz got their comeuppance, making Lita's words ring true. As Undertaker has Matt beat with a chokeslam, Jeff ran down to interfere on behalf of his brother. Matt hits Undertaker with a neckbreaker as Jeff went for a Swanton Bomb. Raven then runs out and throws Jeff off the top turnbuckle into the barricade. Undertaker gives Matt the Last Ride for the pinfall. Raven then comes in, tosses Jeff into the ring, and flashes a pair of handcuffs at The Undertaker, who smirks in approval. Raven handcuffs Jeff to the top rope and cackles maniacally as he offers him to the Undertaker to beat on. Raven then spies Matt making his way back in and drops toe holds him and locks him up in a cross armbar submission, forcing him to watch the Undertaker beat Jeff into oblivion as Matt can only scream in impotent rage as Raven and Undertaker decimate the helpless Hardy Boyz.

WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven vs. Jeff Hardy: (06.16.02) - WWE Sunday Night Heat on MTV hails this week from Grenville, South Carolina. D'Lo Brown has now officially taken over Raven's former color commentary position on Heat that he vacated 3 weeks ago on WWE Sunday Night Heat. Tonight, fate has decreed that Raven challenge one half of the newly "extreme" Hardy Boyz duo in Jeff Hardy for the main event of the night exclusively here on MTV.

"End of Everything" by Stereomud hits the P.A. and Raven makes his way out to the ring doing a Crucifix pose on the ramp. He has "FATE" written across his chest in large letters with black grease paint and raven's feather drawn diagonally across his face. He gets to the ring and slumps into the corner banging his head into the pads several times as Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring. There are several pro-Raven signs in the crowd, including a large white one that says FATE on it. Both men pace around each other for a bit and then lock up with Raven powering Jeff to the canvas with a hiptoss. Raven taunts Jeff to get back up. They lock up again and Raven again overpowers Jeff, bodyslamming him and pacing around as Jeff recovers. On their 3rd lockup, Jeff comes out with some momentum, knocking Raven down and trying a schoolboy rollup for the pin, but only gets a 2-count from referee Brian Hebner.

Jeff Hardy slams Raven down a couple more times to try and set up his Swanton Bomb, but Raven recovers and knocks Jeff from off the top turnbuckle with a few punches. Raven tries a superplex, but Jeff knocks Raven off the turnbuckle. Jeff tries the Swanton Bomb for the second time, but hits nothing but canvas as Raven was playing possum. Raven mounts himself atop of Jeff and starts punching and choking him down until Hebner breaks it up. Raven gets up snarling and sets Jeff up for his top rope driving kneedrop and nails it for a 2 count. Raven nails Jeff in the corner with 4 hard chops and hits his clothesline/bulldog combination for 2 1/2 from Hebner. Raven whips Jeff trying to backbody drop him, but Jeff kicks Raven. Raven catches the leg and Jeff hits an enzuiguri. The 2 trade blows and Jeff hits a jawbreaker on Raven setting up a legdrop to the groin for a 2 count. Jeff charges Raven, Raven knocks Jeff out of the ring with a vicious lariat using his momentum. Raven pulls Jeff back in and drops him with a clothesline from hell, then knocks Jeff out of the ring again with a decisive kneelift to the head, making Jeff's head hit the mat on the ground below. Jeff clims in again, but Raven decapitates him with another vicious lariat to the head. Exhausted and unable to overpower Raven at this point, Jeff desperately grabs some cables from the TV equipment and hangs them as a wire noose around Raven's head to choke him out and weaken him so Jeff can try to pull off a win. Keep in mind, Jeff has never defeated Raven in a singles match before. Hebner spots Jeff using the cable and DQ's him immediately as Jeff then hits a Swanton on Raven despite the fact that he couldn't get the job done when he had the chance.

WINNER: Raven via Disqualification. (4:13)

WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven vs. Spike Dudley: (06.09.02) - WWE Sunday Night Heat on MTV hails this week from Dallas, Texas. Once again, since Raven quit his color commentary position 2 weeks ago on WWE Sunday Night Heat, Jonathan Coachman again has no partner at the Heat announce position. D'Lo Brown then comes down to ringside and joins Coachman this weekend to fill Raven's spot temporarily.

Coachman cues a video of Raven backstage at Heat earlier in the evening. Raven is being interviewed by his former valet, Terri Runnels about his recent change of attitude in the past few weeks. Raven, sporting his familiar blonde, black and red braids, has a large white "X" painted across his forehead as he responds to Terri's inquiry:

"Fate has brought me to these crossroads and I WILL NOT be held accountable for my actions. QUOTE the Raven, nevermore ..."

"End of Everything" by Stereomud hits the P.A. as Raven makes his way down to ringside for his match. He now has the word "FATE" written across his chest in white paint, making him look like some kind of alternative comic-book character supervillain archetype. He climbs aboard the turnbuckles and does the Crucifix pose, then slumps down into the corner in complete disdain for his opponent, Spike Dudley. Raven and Spike lock-up, with Raven being dominant in his grapple. He powers Spike into the corner and slaps him on the chest 5 times before trying to whip him across the ring. They exchange several holds before Raven tries to charge Spike. Spike drop toe holds Raven into the corner with Raven's momentum. Spike jumps onto of Raven and starts pogostomping on Raven's chest until Nick Patrick breaks it up. Spike tries to Acid Drop Raven, but Raven tosses Spike into the corner and hits him with a telegraphed discus clothesline from the ropes. Raven taunts Spike and charged him with a kneelift, seinding him flying out of the ring. Raven explodes with renewed vigor and Russian legsweeps Spike on the outside into the crowd barricade, tussing him back into the ring afterward. Raven climbs onboard the prone Spike, choking him and pouncing his head onto the ring steps until Patrick breaks that up. Raven snapmares Spike down twice, chokes him with a sleeper and then drops Spike for the 2 count with a short dropkick to the head. Raven hits his clothesline/bulldog combo and Spike charges Raven in the groin to regain his momentum. He hits Raven with an atomic drop, a bulldog and then a clothesline and neckbreaker for the 2 count. Spike tries to punch Raven in the corner several times but gets tossed by Raven. Raven grabs Spike and decapitates him under the bottom rope with a slingshot. Raven then whips Spike across to set up his finisher, but Spike brings Raven down with a flying head-scissors for 2. WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven vs. Shawn Stasiak: (06.02.02) - WWE Sunday Night Heat on MTV hails this week from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As the show starts off, Jonathan Coachman is sitting at the commentary position by himself, explaining that last week, Raven walked out on his commentary position and quit. Coachman says he'll carry on without Raven, but Jacqueline comes out and offers to take his place, insisting Raven doesn't know the opportunity he walked out on.

Stereomud's "End of Everything" hits on the P.A. system as Raven makes his way down to face Shawn Stasiak in a singles match on Heat. Raven is sporting heavy black eyeliner around his eyes and a huge white "X" painted across his face. He also has the word "FATE" written on his left chest in white paint as well as a black PVC kilt. He marches down to the commentary position and stares down Coachman and Jackie in his old spot, before climbing the turnbuckle and doing the sign of the Crucifix as Stasiak make shis way down for the match.

Coachman makes it a point to mention Raven is a genius, but states he is also a freak. Raven and Stasiak lock up, but Stasiak powers Raven down. They feel each other put for a bit, Raven gets some right hands in, but Stasiak locks Raven up in a full-nelson and shakes Raven like a rag doll, ultimately tossing him down to the canvas for a 2-count. Stasiak slingshots Raven into the corner post, stomping him down and then whipping him into the opposite corner. He charges Raven, but Raven ducks and Stasiak tackles the turnbuckle post. Raven grabs Stasiak, climbs the post and jumps off, driving his knee into Stasiak's back, for a 2 count. Raven gets Stasiak in a wristlock, then turns that in a snap mare, bouncing off the ropes with a dropkick for a 2-count. WINNER: Raven via Pinfall. (4:45)
