The Raven Activity Archives

WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven/D-Lo Brown Confrontation: (08.18.02) - Heat comes to MTV from Seattle, Washington this week as D-Lo Brown makes his way down to the ring to start the show. D-Lo says 2 weeks ago Raven declared Heat his personal playground, but D-Lo made his feelings about that known to Raven. D-Lo wanted to fight Raven last week, but Raven claimed injury, sending Johnny Stamboli to fight D-Lo instead. Raven then attacked D-Lo with a crutch; giving Stamboli the win. This week, D-Lo needs for Raven to recognize who the hell D-Lo brown is. Raven comes down to the Heat ramp with a microphone to address D-Lo:

"D-Lo Brown, you degenerate reprobate, I accept your challenge. But not tonight. Understand that Heat is my personal playground and I will not allow anyone to dictate terms to me! But you will have an opponent, because there is a ton of people back in the locker room who would LOVE to make an impact on Eric Bischoff and show some ruthless aggression. So tonight your opponent is not just the coolest, he's not just the best, he's Justin Credible."

Raven accompanies Justin Credible to ringside as Justin will be Raven's proxy this week in fighting D-Lo Brown. Raven cheers Justin on to beat D-Lo in this back and forth match. A huge "RAVEN SUCKS" chant breaks out in the middle of the match. D-Lo puts Justin away with the Sky-High for the win, but Raven exerts his Raven's Rules and runs-in and evenflows D-Lo with the Raven Effect and stalks away doing the Crucifix pose. Terri then interviews Raven and he reveals more of his plans for D-Lo.

"D-Lo Brown was once again a victim of the rules of Raven's playground. I almost feel sorry for Justin; but in chess, pawns must be sacrificed. But let me assure D-Lo Brown that the games aren't over and I'd like to personally bid him welcome to the clockwork orange ride in Raven's house of fun."

Raven Appearance: Tommy Dreamer vs. Planet Stasiak: (08.17.02) - Dreamer even manages to use a 20-lb turkey as a weapon in this match. Raven sneaks into the match with his own referee and pins Dreamer using 24/7 to become a 27 time WWE Hardcore Champion.

WINNER and NEW WWE Hardcore Champion: Raven via Pinfall. [27x]

Stasiak then rolls up Raven for the pin to steal Raven's reign away from him.

WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven vs. D-Lo Brown: (08.11.02) - Heat comes to MTV from Baltimore, Maryland this week. D-Lo Brown has challenged Raven to a grudge match for the main event due to last week's confrontation on Heat. D-Lo makes his way down first and waits as "End of Everything" hits the P.A. Raven makes his way down to the ring in his street clothes, sporting a pair of crutches and grabs the microphone:

"D-lo Brown, I've come out here to regretfully inform you and all of these depraved sociopaths that I won't be able to compete tonight because of a sprained ankle. I'm sure you people would love to see me wrestle injured, perhaps risking permanent physical damage. Well, that's typical of you degenerates, parading around with a facade of caring and compassion while deep inside lusting for bloodthirsty spectacle. D-lo, this is your fault! Your unprovoked attack on me last week left me with a severe physical trauma which is only matched by my disdain for your reprehensible behavior. D-lo Brown, your transgressions have a price; a liability that must be paid in full. So I have enlisted the aid of someone who is not unfamiliar with the term "debt collection." D-Lo Brown, prepare to pay!"

With this, Raven calls down Johnny Stamboli, who has been enlisted by Raven to take D-Lo out. Raven and Johnny shake hands and he faces D-Lo for Raven, as Raven shouts directions to Stamboli. Raven distracts Earl Hebner, which draws D-Lo over and Raven smashes his crutch over D-Lo's head, allowing Johnny to hit D-Lo with "The Fuhgedabowdit" - a compact uranage suplex - for the win as Raven yells in approval!

WWE Sunday Night Heat: Raven Appearance: Shelton Benjamin vs. Justin Credible: (08.04.02) - WWE Sunday Night Heat on MTV comes from Greensboro, North Carolina this week. Last week on Heat, Terri Runnels conducted an interview with Raven where he confided to her that if he was no longer welcome on WWE RAW or on SmackDown!, then he would turn Heat into his own personal playground with delight.

This week on cue, "End of Everything" by Stereomud ran over the P.A. despite the fact that Jonathan Coachman and D Lo noted that Raven wasn't scheduled to appear on Heat that evening in a wrestling capacity. Rather than making his way towards the ring, Raven instead angled over towards the new announce position next to the Titantron established after Eric Bischoff took over the RAW promotion. Raven pulled on a headset and had a WWE P.A. bring him a chair to sit at the commentator's position. Raven then intoned that as part of his quest to turn Heat into his personal playground, he will now wrestle when he wants, interrupt matches if he so desires or even do commentary if it suits his fancy, which he will do at this moment and sat down to call the Shelton Benjamin vs. Justin Credible match alongside Coach and D Lo.

Notes from Raven's Commentary: Raven mentions that just because Benjamin went to school with Brock Lesnar, it doesn't make him a good wrestler, just like if D Lo did color with J.R. it wouldn't make D Lo a good commentator. Raven says he isn't miserable at all, but rather he's ecstatic despite what others think. D Lo doesn't understand Raven's P.O.V.; he mistakes thoughtfulness with being miserable. Raven thinks he treated poorly in WWE because of how he looks, that people think he's a degenerate. But Raven isn't depraved, it's the people. Raven then mentions that D Lo was a CPA before he became a wrestler, but Raven wants D Lo to admit D Lo cheated to pass his CPA boards and goads him about it repeatedly. D Lo tells Raven he may have been shady in his past, but Raven needs to step off. As a former marine, Raven says he wouldn't feel safe with Coach or D Lo in his focsle. Raven says if he and D Lo fought, D Lo would fall prey to the Raven Effect. Raven says he would be the first person to kick out of D Lo's finisher at a 2 count. Raven says everyone is a freak, they all conceal it & he's a victim because he's open about it; if D Lo has a problem with it, he should do something. Raven and D Lo exchange blows over it and Raven gets knocked over the table and leaves as Coach holds D Lo back after his cheap shot on Raven.
