NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven & Sabu vs. The Gathering [Julio Dinero & CM Punk] w/Father James Mitchell: (2.25.04) - Raven is back to the kilt garb this week, but has a new theme song; a distaff version of "Come Out and Play" by The Offspring. Raven started out with Punk, stomping him down in a corner. Raven took out Punk and Dinero, sending both to the floor. Sabu used a chair to springboard to the top rope, then flipped off onto Punk and Dinero. Sabu took Dinero into the ring and hit a springboard leg lariat for two, while Raven worked over Punk on the floor. Sabu hit a slingshot somersault legdorp and an Arabian Press on Dinero for two count. Sabu went to the top rope, hit Punk with a chair on his way there, but missed Dinero with a Arabian facebuster. Raven hit a clothesline/bulldog combo on Punk and Dinero, but Dinero floored Raven with a Mafia kick. Dinero hit Raven with a spinkick for two. Punk hit Raven with boot scrapes, but missed a charge in the corner. Raven tagged Sabu, who threw a chair at Punk and Dinero. Sabu used a chair launch to send Dinero over the top rope with a clothesline, then hit Punk with Air Sabu and an Arabian facebuster. On the floor, Mitchell went to hit Raven with a chair, but Raven shoved him down. Sabu hit a Triple Jump Moonsault on Dinero, but Punk broke it up. Sabu went for a springboard onto Punk, but Dinero shoved Raven in the way, and Sabu crashed into the chair Raven was holding. However, Raven grabbed Dinero with a DDT for the pin in six minutes.

WINNER: Raven/Sabu via Pinfall (6:00)

Raven grabbed the mic and talked about what an unstoppable force he and Sabu were. However, Raven said he has not forgotten about his destiny, and promised to get Jeff Jarrett and the NWA World Title:

“Jeff Jarrett, I cannot be stopped!
Jeff Jarrett, I will not be stopped!
You saw what an unstoppable juggernaut Raven-Sabu was. Did You think I forgot about my destiny?! Did you think I forgot about the world title?! Did you think I forgot that we’re all just little marionettes being tugged around by fate’s wings?
Jeff Jarrett, I’m coming for you... but apparently so is everyone else. On March seventeenth Chris Harris gets a title shot... What about me? What about Raven?”

3PW: Raven vs. Gary Wolfe: (02.21.04) - Joey Matthews came out and cut a promo about how he is the most underrated and underutilized talent not under contract in North America today. Despite playing heel, many fans were cheering and applauding Matthews. Mentioning his previous victories at the last two 3PW shows over Low Ki and AJ Styles, Matthews promised to defeat Jerry Lynn and earn a shot at 3PW Champion Raven. Raven, who is also the commissioner of the company, came out and told Matthews that since Sabu's scheduled opponent, Roadkill, was unable to appear, he was adding Sabu to the Matthews-Lynn match, making it a three way. Matthews came out on top in the match-up. Post-match, Raven came to the ring and said he wanted to shake Matthews hand, but DDT'd him instead.

Raven successfully defended his 3PW Championship against Pitbull Gary Wolfe through aid from his aide Jack Victory. Jack Victory gored Wolfe through a table set up in the corner post at which point Raven got the cover on the prone Pitbull for the pinfall win.

WINNER: Raven via Pinfall

WIN/LOSS/DRAW SINGLES RECORD for 2004: 3/2/0

NWA Total Nonstop Action: Terry Funk & Raven vs. The Gathering [Julio Dinero & CM Punk] w/Father James Mitchell: (2.19.04) - Raven makes his triumphant return to PPV wrestling this week in more ways than one. As Raven's entrance music queued up, Raven was wearing his original iconic ECW garb -- leather jacket wearing dark messianic antihero with jean shorts. Funk was busted open early on, as Raven took on both men by himself. Punk and Dinero double superkicked Raven out of the ring. Dinero pounded Raven on the floor, while Punk started working over a bloody Funk in the ring. There was a brief "Terry" chant as Punk took Funk on the floor and rammed him into the guardrails. Punk started slapping Funk in the ring, and Funk collapsed to the mat. Funk started fighting back, hitting punches to the midsection, then hitting a stunner. Dinero came in, and Funk decked him with the chicken punches. Funk went for the spinning toehold on Dinero, but Punk shoved Funk into a Dinero small package for two. It actually settled into a tag match after five minutes, with Raven and Dinero on the apron. Dinero tagged in and hit a fisherman's suplex on Funk. Dinero came off the middle rope for a senton, but Funk got his knees up. Funk made the tag to Raven as Punk was also tagged in. Raven cleaned house with clotheslines and kneelifts. Raven brought back the snot rag, and used it on Punk, then bulldogged him while clotheslining Dinero. Raven clotheslined Punk from the ring, and Funk hit Dinero with a stunner. Funk applied the Oklahoma Roll on Dinero, but Punk broke up the cover. Raven superkicked Punk from the ring and DDT'd Dinero for the pin at the eight minute mark.

WINNER: Raven/Funk via Pinfall (8:00)

Post-match, the Gathering beat down on Raven and Funk. Father James Mitchell came out with a taser, and went to stun Raven with it, but Funk threw himself in the line of fire and took the stunning. Raven grabbed the taser and ran off the Gathering, as Funk shook on the mat in pain from the stunning.

Raven Interview - Post match, Raven gave his thoughts on James Mitchell and his former Gathering:

"You outmaneuvered me. I sat home for five weeks, alone, with my own pain, misery, and self-loathing...

As I layed around the house — I thought “what had become of me?” And one day, I looked in a dusty drawer — that I hadn’t looked at in years. And I pulled out my leather jacket, my jean shorts, and my flannel — And I saw the Raven that I used to be. A Raven that was barbaric. A Raven that was ruthless. A Raven that didn’t care about anybody or anything — including himself.

I forgot about this Raven. I started caring about people. Jim Mitchell — I thank you, because you made me remember—that you should never forget what brought you to the dance!

Jim Mitchell — I will take your bloody intestines and shove them down your throat with a rusty fork while you’re being sodomized by your own sidekicks — Julio and Punk. And then it will be Julio’s turn, and then it’ll be Punk’s... AND then Jeff Jarrett—I’m coming for the title.

And, incase I forgot, next week — just so it’s not a three-on-Raven, I’m gonna bring a partner.

But I thought to myself — 'Who can I get, who can I bring that has even less regard for life and limb than I do?'

So, I thought I’d bring the suicidal, homicidal, genocidal, death-defying SABU!

Jim Mitchell — I can smell the fear in you. I think you hear me knocking, I think I’m coming in — quote the Raven, nevermore."

USA Pro Wrestling: USA Pro Wrestling Championship: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas vs. Raven - (02/14/04) - Raven defended his USA Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship against his recently renewed rival "The Franchise" Shane Douglas -- who was seconded by his Triple Threat of Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow and Tammy Lynn Sytch. Despite a valiant effort by Raven and several points where he had the match won, the outside interference of the Triple Threat proved too much for the Generation X Superstar and Franchise took home the victory and the gold in this latest bout in their rivalry.

WINNER and NEW USA Pro CHAMPION: Shane Douglas via Pinfall

WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Records for 2004: 2/2/0

BCW: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas & Dyson Pryce vs. Raven & Sabu: (2.08.04) - This was billed as a match pitting Douglas & Pryce versus Raven and a "Mystery Partner." Earlier in the show, Douglas came out with his valet Jade to let the people know he and Pryce would "franchise" Raven tonight, no matter who his mystery partner was revealed to be.

Raven came down to the ring following Douglas and his entourage and revealed his partner to be Sabu, as he did Sabu's point to the sky gesturing to signal his arrival. When Sabu hit the ring, the Franchise left the ring and acted as though he was headed back to the locker room. Raven got on the mic and berated him, remarking something along the lines of Douglas having a yellow streak similar to that of his tights. There was also a comment about Douglas's valet "eyeing him (Raven) all evening" and the probability of "sloppy seconds." The bulk of the match is Sabu in the ring while Douglas and Price switch back and forth. Raven tries for a false tag, but it doesn't go over. Eventually Raven gets in the ring, clears the ring via right hands, hits The Raven Effect for a pinfall attempt to no avail. At the end of the match, Jade sprays what appears to be hairspray in Raven's eyes; this was retribution for Raven "spanking" her earlier in the match. Sabu pinned Douglas after "Big" Dave Martin pushed Douglas off the top rope and Sabu put Douglas through a table. Raven and Sabu are victorious. Raven exits fairly quickly after a brief celebration with Sabu still rubbing his eyes from the hairspray.

WINNER: Raven/Sabu via Pinfall
