There was a time shortly after Peter Parker gained his spider-powers that the initials "WWF" might have stood for "Wall-crawling, Web-slinging Fellow" instead of "World Wrestling Federation." As all good Spider-Man scholars know, Peter only entered the ring once to profit from his abilities, but the untold story of his hapless opponent is what Cage writer Brian Azzarello and WWF superstar Raven will explore in Spider-Man's Tangled Web #14: The Last Shoot (MAR021659, $2.99).
Designed to give creators a showcase for telling Spidey stories that might otherwise never be told, Tangled Web has quickly become a favorite with regular Spider-Man readers and those interested only in short story arcs or self-contained tales.
