ECW: ECW World Heavyweight Championship: The Sandman vs. Raven [w/ the Blue World Order] (Dog Collar Match): (12.28.96) - No Tyler, no Lori, no lackeys. Sandman was busted open hardway by crushing a beer can on his forehead as he waled around the ring. The rules were you could win by pinfall, submission, or touching all 4 corners or ringposts. They brawled around the building until returning to the ring. With Raven in complete control, The Blue World Order hit the ring. Stevie got in the ring asking to stevieKick Sandman, but instead PURPOSELY Hit Raven! Raven kicked up, the BWO left, and he eventually got the win with a DDT; the crowd popped huge when Stevie hit the kick.
WINNER and STILL ECW Champion: Raven via Pinfall.

ECW: ECW World Heavyweight Championship: The Sandman vs. Raven [w/ the Blue World Order]: (12.27.96) - Sandman was busted open early, this time from the beer can during his entrance. Guardrails were used, chairs, the cane, the remaining ringside table, merchandise tables and more. Tyler got involved when Raven was down for a pin as he distracted Sandman, then the BWO got involved, Raven dispensed Nova and the Blue Guy right away, but still unsure about Stevie. Stevie still helping out Raven getting with the Stevie Kick for the win, but its still unknown about the status of Raven and the BWO, since Raven has been taking umbrage to Stevie's lackeys encouraging him to stand up for himself.
WINNER and STILL ECW Champion: Raven via Pinfall.

ECW: ECW World Heavyweight Championship: Mikey Whipwreck vs. Raven: (12.20.96) - A quick brawl which ended prematurely after Mikey Whipwreck injured his leg legitimately in this match and Raven scored the pinfall. At this point, the Sandman made his way down towards the ring and stole the ECW World Heavyweight Title away. WINNER and STILL ECW Champion: Raven via Pinfall.

ECW TV: Raven Appearance/Recap: (12.10.96) - ECW starts off with Raven pinning Sandman to get the ECW World Heavyweight Title back which is now in ECW's opening sequence. Joey goes over the history of the ECW World Heavyweight Title. It went back to the NWA title tournament and how Shane won it to along to the time that Sandman won it from him. Sandman kept the belt until Mikey Whipwreck won the title on 12/9/95, Sandman won it back in a triangle match including Steve Austin. Behind the scenes, Raven was already getting into Sandman's life and he used that to win the title for the first time, Raven took a leave of absence in October and at Ultimate Jeopardy, Stevie Richards took Raven's place and Sandman won the title; then this past Saturday in the barbed wire match, Raven won it back.
Stills from the barbed wire match are shown, starting as Tyler and Lori are being escorted back, then to Sandman ripping his pants on the barbed wire, the two were battling on top of a table when that happened, Sandman took the brunt of the fall and Raven used whatever energy he had left to DDT Sandman and get the title for the 2nd time and thus begins the next reign of the Raven.
Raven is now joined by Styles - Raven talked about how he never really lost the belt, but he did get it back. He never in fact, lost it, because he was in rehab for the 5th time in 7 years. They wanted to take the title away, take it from someone with not so much personal baggage, but Stevie Richards wasn't man enough to hang onto it for him.
Raven said that they could bring in whoever they wanted - throw whatever they had at him, he'd always hang onto that belt. They then pull back to him sitting there on the ECW studio floor. Highlights of the barbed wire match now are shown with Raven winning back the title and all this to "Come out and Play" by The Offspring.

ECW December To Dismember '96: ECW World Heavyweight Title Match: Raven vs. The Sandman (Barbed Wire Match): (12.07.96) - Before the match, Raven examines the barbed wire. The match begins with a tie-up with Raven and The Sandman with Raven getting the advantage with a headlock on The Sandman. Raven tries to drag Sandman to the wire but Sandman slips free. Raven kicks Sandman in the stomach and whips Sandman to the wire but Sandman somehow evades the wire. Raven now hits Sandman with a single leg dive but Sandman gets up on top of Raven and repeatedly punches Raven on his face. Sandman now tries to get Raven face first in the wire but Raven escapes. Sandman once again tries to put Raven face first on the wire but Raven escapes but gets hit in the face with a Sandman elbow. Raven now drops down the Sandman with a snapmare then hits Sandman with a fist to the groin. Raven tries another first in the groin but gets kicked in the face. Sandman puts a schoolboy on Raven for a two count. Sandman now puts Raven in a spinning toe hold on Raven but Raven gets two stiff kicks on Sandman face. Sandman does the toe hold again but Raven kicks Sandman face forcefully thus Sandman is the first victim of hitting the barbwire. Raven then hits consecutive dropkicks on The Sandman in the wire. Raven then grabs The Sandman and crotches him on the barbwire. Raven then throws Sandman to the outside. Raven sets a table to the corner and throws Sandman through the table. Raven throws Sandman to the guardrail. Raven grabs a metal tray and hits Sandman two times with it. Raven then hits Sandman shoulder first on the ring post. Raven now sets up another table and slides it in the ring. Raven then throws Sandman back to the ring. Raven gets a kneelift on The Sandman. Raven then grabs the table and sets in the corner but Sandman charges towards Raven and Raven tastes the barbwire for the first time. For no apparent reason Raven takes off his shirt and charges The Sandman. Raven tries to suplex Sandman on the wire but Sandman reverses and front suplexes Raven on the wire! Sandman now grabs wire cutters from the referee and starts the cut the wire off. Sandman now having the advantage strangles Raven on the barbwire. Sandman now puts Raven face first on the wire. Sandman grabbing the barbwire starts whipping it on Raven on his back. Raven rolls to the outside buts gets greeted with a table dropped on him by The Sandman. Sandman once again is cutting the wire thus leading to another whipping by The Sandman with the wire. Sandman and Raven are the outside but Raven comes back with four sick chair shots to The Sandman's head and a boot to his stomach. Raven's forehead and back are now lacerated. Raven now with the advantage puts Sandman face first in the wire. Raven and Sandman now battle to the outside with Raven getting the better of the two with an Irish whip to the rail and choking out The Sandman on the ring post. Raven grabs the cane but Sandman elbows Raven thus grabbing the cane and hitting Raven two times with it. Back to the ring, where Sandman charges and dives over the wire and hits Raven with a flying cane shot thus leading to a huge ECW chant in the ECW Arena. Sandman now grabs a table and hits a table suplex on Raven. Raven and Sandman are brawling on the floor with both men in a bloody mess. Back to the ring, where Sandman tries to put Raven back in the ring but Raven grabs Sandman and chokes him on the wire. Raven now grabs a table and sets it in the ring. Raven with a kick but Sandman responds back to a cane shot. Sandman once again cuts of the barbwire strands. Sandman is now wrapping the wire on Raven body!! Raven struggles to free himself while Sandman cuts off the last barbwire strands. Raven rolls to the outside to free the barbwire off his hair. While Raven is removing the wire off his hair, The Sandman is wrapping the barbwire all over his body. Sandman then his another flying cane shot to Raven. Sandman now sets up a table to the floor and puts Raven on the table. Sandman tries to put himself through the table on Raven but Raven escapes thus Sandman crashes through it. Back to the ring, where Raven sets up a table. Raven tries to setup a piledriver on top of the table on The Sandman but the table gives way dropping both men down to the ring canvas thus resulting in a loud booo chant in the audience. Raven recovers and grabs the limp Sandman and drops him down with the Evenflow DDT through the table for the win.

MEWF: Raven & Axl Rotten [w/Isis & Ginger Lynn Lucas] vs. The Headbangers [Mosh & Thrasher]: (12.01.96) - The team of Raven and Axl Rotten, accompanied by the Isis (Raven's valet who is wearing a white stretch top and black cutoff shorts) and Axl's freak of the week Ginger Lynn Lucas. This team-up of ECW villains doesn;t last long as Axl turns on Raven almost immediately and he and Mosh and Thrasher take turns beating the Raven. Fortunately for Raven, the Blue World Order is always watching out for him and Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie rush the ring to help out Raven. This match gets quickly recast and sanctioned as a 6 man tag between the Freaks and Raven's Nest. The match ends after a wild ten minute brawl when Stevie superkicks one of the Headbangers for the pinfall. To top it off, Raven picsk up the prone fellow and drops him with a DDT for good measure.
WINNERS: Raven & the BWO via Pinfall.
