WCW Monday Nitro: Raven vs. Disco Inferno: (2.1.98) - Raven enters to a steady chant of "Raven Sucks!". They don't seem to like him much in Texas. He enters the ring and sinks into the corner to make his usual self-pitying whine. He attacks ferociously right on the bell and flings Disco to the floor. He brings a chair back in as he returns to the ring. He armdrags Disco onto the chair then rams his head into it. Disco gets loose and some revenge as well. He almost gets a pin - twice. Now it's all Disco but he can't put his opponent away. Raven comes back and slams Disco's face into the mat. The match see-saws as Disco slips in a belly-to-back suplex. He fails at a series of pin attempts. He pounds Raven in the corner as Raven just grins. Moments later he ducks his head too soon and pays for his indiscretion. A DDT puts him down, dubbed by Tenay as "The Evenflow," takes him out. Cut to commercial.

WCW Thunder: Raven vs. Marty Jannetty: (2.4.98) - Raven vs. Marty Jannetty - Raven walks down the ramp a little then sits down on the set for a moment. Then he continues to the ring. This a return bout so of course a Jannetty attacks his opponent before he gets to the ring. Actually Jannetty looks like a perfect prospect for the Flock himself...hmmm... He dominates the early going but runs out of steam around the 2 minute mark. Raven gets his chair in the ring and Jannetty starts losing. Later, Raven sets up the chair by laying it on Jannetty but then throws a splash off the top only to be met with the chair - now in Jannetty's hands. The fight spills to the floor and Jannetty succeeds in crashing his opponent into the ring steps. Back in the ring he loses his momentum long enough for Raven to slip in his DDT and win the match. Cut to commercial.

Raven TBS Promo - Raven cuts a promo during a commercial for TBS' "Movies For Guys Who Like Movies" presentation of "The Blues Brothers," making reference to John Belushi as one of his fallen idols and Dan Akyroyd as a washed up hack comedian, then challenges Benoit.
Raven Appearance: DDP vs. Benoit - Diamond Dallas Page vs. Chris Benoit - US Title match - DDP gets a great pop as he makes his entrance. He seems determined and somewhat subdued as he slumps in the corner prior to the match. No Diamond Cutter gesture this time out of respect for his opponent. Cut to commercial.
We're back and the two are basically staring each other down ... They lock up and start struggling around the ring until they fall out to the floor. Back in the ring they struggle for position again then get on the move. The exchange turns into a see-saw battle for supremacy which ends in another stare down. They jaw a little then lock up again. Moments later Benoit manages the slap on his Cross Face finisher but DDP reaches the ropes. The match starts see-sawing again - Dallas mat wrestling for his life as Benoit delivers abrupt power moves. In the midst of a Benoit suplex, DDP manages to turn the move into a Diamond Cutter and Benoit is down. Lodi invades the ring and also gets Cut - Flock members start swarming into the ring. In the middle of this, Raven slips in and puts a DDT on the already-wounded Benoit. DDP cleans out the rest of the Flock then waits for Benoit to get his head together - but it's too late. The referee has already ended the match. They have another monumental stare down as we fade to black.

WCW Monday Nitro: TV Title Match: Raven vs. Booker T: (2.8.98) - Raven has the mic. He rants about Benoit then turns his guns on Booker T. He says that the TV belt belongs to the Flock and more specifically to Saturn. He then sics his thugs on the champ. Booker makes mincemeat out of them all, then Raven attacks when the time is right. Mickey Jay has already ended the match. Booker holds his own until the Flock attacks again. Raven gets the DDT then has Saturn come in and apply the Rings of Saturn. The crowd chants "Raven Sucks!!" as they leave Booker T lying in the ring.

WCW Thunder: Raven/Mortis Segment: (2.11.98) - Important Raven history here. During the Prince Iaukea vs. Kidman (w/Lodi) match, we head back to the locker room where Raven is inviting Mortis to join the Flock. He tells Mortis to lose the costume and beat Diamond Dallas Page tonight if he wants to follow the Raven and join the Flock.
Mortis (w/James Vandenberg) vs. Diamond Dallas Page - US Title match - Vandenberg seems definitely put out as they come to the ring. DDP dominates the early going. He goes for the Diamond Cutter early but Mortis escapes and puts his opponent down. He pounds DDP into the corner, then distracts the referee so that Vandenberg can get in some licks. DDP comes back strong but is shorcutted by a back-kick. Mortis attempts a series of pinning combinations but no cigar. DDP is up and slugging again and starts to gain ground. Moments later a Diamond Cutter succeeds and Mortis goes down. Raven's flock arrives as DDP splits through the crowd. They collect the unconscience Mortis and walk out with him. Raven meets them at the bottom of the ramp. Mortis seems to be appealing to him, and does Raven's Crucifix from his ECW days. Raven's answer is a kick in the gut and a DDT. Cut to commercial. Mortis is officially a Flock reject.

Chris Benoit vs. Raven - Raven attacks Benoit from behind as the latter heads for the ring. Of course the Birdman brings his chair into the ring but he takes as many shots from it as he dishes out. In fact he takes more. After the first use by Raven, Benoit takes control of the match (and the chair) until he flings himself into it (Sick Boy pulled his mentor out of harm's way). Benoit is out on the mat as Raven staggers around - but as Raven attempts to capitalize, Benoit comes back to life. He puts on four German Suplexes before theFlock swarms. Benoit goes down pretty quickly until DDP comes to the rescue like a one-man army. As he is busy clearing the ring of scum, Saturn has slapped the Rings of Saturn on Benoit. Finally DDP chases Saturn from the area. Benoit seems put out, claiming he didn't need any help. Cut to commercial.

WCW Monday Nitro: DDP/Raven Segment: (2.15.98) - Mean Gene is in the ring and introduces Diamond Dallas Paige - he praises his favorite challenger then says that he and Benoit have arranged a match with Raven and Saturn on Thunder. He then challanges Raven directly to face him right now. Raven goes right to the ring and is followed by Saturn. The Chris Benoit shows up and evens the odds. Cut to commercial.

WCW Thunder: Raven/Saturn vs. DDP/Benoit: (2.18.98) - Chris Benoit/Diamond Dallas Page vs. Raven/Saturn - we see clips from Nitro before the match begins. Benoit and Page enter separately but Benoit takes his time getting there...they arrive together. After some jostling Raven faces Page to start. No...Saturn takes his place. DDP and Benoit look pretty good as a team in the first exchanges. Saturn has tipped the balance back the other way as we cut to commercial.
This show is going to run over time - its 6:58 and we're in the middle of the second-to-last-match as we return. Saturn is still in charge now over Benoit. I notice that Saturn wears a metal-reinforced brace on his left leg. DDP is about to Diamond Cut Saturn when Riggs hits him with a chair. Now DDP is on the heavy duty receiving end. Raven is anything but his usual laconic self as all four athletes are functioning on all burners. Saturn pushes a chair into the ring - it isn't clear if this is a no DQ match. In any case it comes into play and isn't removed from the ring. At one point Benoit and Saturn do a little dance with the chair going back and forth between them. Benoit throws the chair to Saturn and then punches him through it! Later Raven goes for his DDT but Page backs him into the corner and gets the Diamond Cutter. Immediately Benoit slaps the Crippler Crossface on Saturn and makes him submit. Cut to commercial.

WCW Monday Nitro: Raven Appearance: DDP vs. Hammer: (2.22.98) - Hammer (w/the Flock) vs. Diamond Dallas Page - Hammer has superior strength and size going for him. He uses his strength advantage well as the match goes on but he is caught in a Diamond Cutter off the second rope before he can have much effect. Raven runs in and puts a DDT on DDP but then Chris Benoit shows up almost immediately and thwarts whatever plans the Flock had for the US Champ. Cut to commercial.
Raven vs. Chris Benoit - Raven (w/the Flock at ringside) vs. Chris Benoit - Benoit attacks Raven in the aisle as he approaches the ring. They end up in the ring but Raven is already reeling. Benoit puts him down then goes for his diving headbutt and misses. Raven almost gets the pin. Raven takes the advantage and brings his chair into the ring. He bulldogs Benoit onto the chair. Benoit ends up on the floor. As he gets up Raven has positioned the chair so that he can do a baseball slide and run into Benoit's face. Back in the ring , Raven tries to use the chair from the top but Benoit gets an arm in front and forces the weapon into the face of his opponent. He wedges the chair into the corner and flings Raven bodily into it. Now the Flock swarms into the ring but Benoit is ready for them - he beats Kidman and Lodi to the punch, ducks out of the way of Sick Boy's splash then gets caught by Riggs. He is overwhelmed untill DDP shows up. They fight the Flock and each other alternately and clear the ring. They almost face off but the Flock returns and divert their attention. Cut to commercial.

WCW Thunder: Raven/DDP Segment: (2.25.98) - Mike Tenay is in the ring to interview Diamond Dallas Page. Apparently we are in for yet another DDP/Benoit match later tonight. He says he has even more respect for Benoit since their match at SuperBrawl. Raven interrupts the interview to demand a Title shot. DDP says, "I'm Jacked, come on in and do it now..." Raven declines the invite but wants to have the match next week on Thunder, cuz he wants to be in the main event.
Raven vs. Kevin Nash - Tony is telling us that the Giant will be back to wrestle Nash at Uncensored. Raven rants about WCW wanting either him or Nash to get hurt tonight. He declares the match to be "Battle Royal" style - what that means in not made clear but Tony seems to think that you win by throwing your opponent over the top rope. Here's the full promo:
"Obviously Kevin Nash is not very popular with the suits at the corporate super station, and it's no secret that Raven is considered a misfit and a freak. So I guess the powers that be decided "let's have Kevin Nash wrestle Raven tonight [audience cheers]. I guess they figure someone's bound to be hurt; somene's bound to be put out of the sport. Well I'll wrestle Nash tonight, but everyone knows it's under Raven's rules. Well tonight it will be battle royal style. Quote the Raven nevermore."
As the match begins, Raven stands aside and allows his Flock to attack the big guy. Hammer succeeds in toppling him with a clothesline from the top turnbuckle. Nash comes back and throws him out of the ring. Lodi gets Jack Knifed twice. Raven never gets involved in the match. Nash gets hauled off in cuffs again. Cut to commercial.

Raven Appearance: DDP vs. Benoit - Diamond Dallas Page vs. Chris Benoit - US Title match - Benoit makes his entrance then we cut to commercial.
DDP makes his entrance. After a quick start by Benoit, DDP turns it around and starts working on Benoit's left arm. Benoit returns the favor then they start to mix it up. They tumble out to the floor and start to brawl. Nick Patrick follows them out and into the crowd. He gets them back to the ringside area and Benoit gets thrown back into the ring. Inside it's DDP in control for a moment then Benoit gets a boot to the midsection and takes over. Now it is all Benoit as he attacks DDP's ribs repeatedly. DDP is down and getting his head stomped. He is stood up in the corner and recovers. Both guys go down and Raven steps up onto the apron. Patrick tries to warn him off but Raven ignores him and attacks bot guys causing the match to be thrown out. Raven and Benoit are going at it out on the floor as we fade to black...
