Nitro: Raven Promo: (12/28/98): A promo was shown of Raven, Kanyon and Mrs. Levy at their Palm Beach Mansion. Chastity was said to be inside, but was not shown. Raven came off as really spoiled and silly, as not even being able to turn a TV on without help! Chastity should debut on the Atlanta, Georgia Nitro tomorrow on Jan. 4 as well.

Nitro: Raven Segment w/Kanyon, Mean Gene, and Mrs. Levy: (12/21/98): Raven is interviewed by Mean Gene who tells him that Saturn says Raven needs therapy. Raven says his mother never loved him, she's only on TV to be seen, that's also why she does philantrophis work. He says se saw Judy Bagwell on TV and will now try and spear Goldberg for airtime. Kanyon bags on Raven, Raven fights him, Mrs. Levy comes out and tells Raven he needs help and they all go to Palm Beach presumptably.

Thunder: (12/17/98): No Raven Activity.

Nitro: Raven vs. Scott Putski: (12/14/98): Raven comes down to ringside wearing a T-Shirt from DC Comic's The Sandman/Sandman Mystery Theatre crossover from their Vertigo imprint. He gets on the mic and gives a good speech that states in very flowery terms that he is damaged goods suffering from the burns of a bad childhood and that his mother never loved him or showed him love. Kanyon then comes down to ringside and tells Scott Putski to leave because there won't be a match tonight between he and Raven. Kanyon tells Raven to snap out of his depression, Raven tells him that he can't because he had a bad childhood. Kanyon tells him to stop because he's going to tell everyone the truth. Raven begs him not to, Kanyon does anyway. Kanyon reveals that Raven has a pre-med degree from a distinguished Ivy League university. He says Raven is worth 3.2 million dollars, he doesn't have to work a day in his life. He says Raven's first car was a Mercedes-Benz that he got at age 16. Raven doesn't come from the Bowery; he comes from Palm Beach, Florida. Raven then leaves and Kanyon tells him to go on back to Palm Beach, to head on back to his hood. Good segment.
Segment: Kanyon and Raven's Mom: Yeah, that's right, Raven's mom. Anyway, it shows the backstage security holding a woman back and you can hear a jet engine in the background. The woman asks to see her son Scott, the security doesn't know who it is, she then says he goes by Raven. Doug Dillinger comes out and asks if she has a pass, Kanyon comes out and tells Dillinger that it is indeed Raven's mother. She then asks to see her son. Kanyon tells her Raven isn't there, but he'll take her to see him for fifty bucks, because he really needs the money!! She gets pissed at Kanyon and tells him that she counts on him for news on her son and to take her to him now. He then agrees and that's it for the segment.

WCW Saturday Night: (12/12/98): No Raven Activity.

Thunder: Kanyon vs. Chris Benoit: (12/10/98): Benoit fights Kanyon answering his challenge from Nitro. Raven hit Kanyon with a paint can in this match, costing him the win. Benoit wins by DQ, but he still puts Kanyon in the Crippler Crossface. Raven says he was just trying to help Kanyon, and then he walks off.

Nitro: Raven/Kanyon vs. The Four Horsemen (Benoit and Malenko w/Arn Anderson): (12/7/98): The Horsemen come out first. Then Raven's music is played and we see Kanyon come out, but Raven is not. Kanyon goes backstage and yells at Raven to come out or else they'll get in trouble. Raven doesn't talk. Kanyon goes off on Raven and tells him that he's Raven's only real friend, because Perry Saturn isn'y there for him, DDP isn't there for him, and Raven's mentor. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper isn't there for him either, only Kanyon. Kanyon then walks out on Raven grabs the mic and gives a speech where he blames Raven for his loss to the Armstrongs, thus ending the 20 year long Armstrong curse. Kanyon then says he won't wrestle the Horsemen tonight, but he'll fight one of them one-on-one on Thunder, cuz he knows he's outnumbered 2-to-1. He then says with Arn there he's actually outnumbered 2 and a half to one, making fun of Arn's injury. Kanyon then pushes Arn aside and calls him an old man, Arm then gets a tire iron to hit Kanyon. Kanyon runs into the ring and the Horsemen set him up with a whip on the ropes. Kanyon gets nailed and runs away to fight another day -- on Thunder.
WINNERS: No Contest.
Nitro Backstage Blast: Kanyon interview with Chad "Deli Boy" Damiani: Kanyon was stopped in the back by the Deli Boy. Deli Boy commended Kanyon on the fact that he had stuck with Raven after all this time and all the grief he'd caused him. Kanyon said anyone else probably would have given up on him and maybe he should, after all it was Raven that made Kanyon the jobber that ended the 20 year long Armstrong curse. Deli Boy showed footage of Raven and Kanyon arguing backstage where Kanyon told him that noone else was there for Raven but him, not Perry Saturn, not Stevie Richards, but Kanyon. Kanyon then states that he's been in contact with Raven's mom and with an old friend of Raven's in Philadelphia who will snap Raven out of his slump and make him great once again. Deli Boy asks who the friend is, all Kanyon says is that people know who he is and to stay tuned and see who he'll be as he is coming soon. This statement by Kanyon pretty much confirms the upcoming arrival of Sandman in WCW as a friend of Raven's from the past and it should probably be happening soon, possibly even at Starrcade.

WCW Saturday Night: Kanyon vs. Kaz Hayashi: (12/5/98): Kanyon comes down to ringside and calls out Raven to come with him. Raven doesn't come out and Kanyon is pissed and just forgets about it and continues to ringside. Kaz got dominated by Kanyon and Kanyon finished him off with a variation of the Flatliner that looked just like Edge's "Downward Spiral."

Thunder: Raven/Kanyon vs. Chris Benoit/Dean Malenko: (12/3/98): Raven and Kanyon came out and started with the mic work. He explained that Raven had thrown himself through a window. (Raven had a burst boil on his head from an artery clot]. Raven and Kanyon will face the Horsemen. Kanyon goes in as Raven won't even start the match. Kanyon pulls a good showing at first, he slams Mongo with ease and does a top rope variation of a fisherman's suplex on him. One word: brutal. Chris Benoit goes in and dominates Kanyon after Kanyon does a string of impressive moves on him including a Flatliner, yet Benoit gets control and stomps Kanyon to the ground. Through the whole match, Raven won't help Kanyon and at one point Kanyon calls Raven an idiot. Benoit then taunts Raven, he calls him out while Kanyon reaches for a tag. At one point, Raven gets his hair grabbed by Benoit who lets go after Raven puts up zero-resistance to it. Benoit tries a flying headbutt on Kanyon and misses. Both men are down. Kanyon grabs Benoit and does a face first power bomb on him. Kanyon then tags Raven (Actually, he slapped him). Raven then walks out on Kanyon and the match. Raven gets the loss by countout as Kanyon gets the Crippler Crossface in the ring. Raven and Kanyon's relationship is over.
WINNERS: Benoit/Malenko via Countout.
