Back to the match at hand tonight. Dawn Marie and Lance Storm join Justin Credible and Rhino. Tonight they face Tommy Dreamer w/ Francine, Raven, and The Sandman. The match tonight is a six-man-tag team slobberknocker. Tommy follows the Impact Players and the match starts, and the Impact Players attack right away. Out comes Raven to try and save him but thats not enough. Raven is wearing the ankh face makeup again as well as the new unidentified t-shirt he's sported the past few weeks [Revision: 5.21.00 - The t-shirt he was wearing turned out to be a Swamp Thing t-shirt]. Justin puts Raven through a table. Here comes the Sandman! Rhino tries to spear him, but he moves out the way and hits him with a beer can instead. Sandman than gets attacked by both Lance and Justin. Francine comes in and fights Dawn Marie. CATFIGHT! Sandman breaks them up, hits the Singapore Sweep on Justin! Raven had Lance ready for an Evenflow, but Sandman canes Raven and leaves the Arena! Justin Credible got the pin on Raven in five minutes and fifty-eight seconds, winning the match for the Impact Players and Rhino.

WINNERS: Impact Players & Rhino via pinfall

FMW (Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling) 10th Anniversary DirecTV PPV: Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya vs. Raven and Tommy Dreamer: (11/23/99) - This PPV was held in Yokohama, Japan on DirecTV Japan only. This math is for the WEW Tag Team Championship held by Ooya and Kuroda at the time. Some funny clips of the champions goofing around with some kid on the streets are shown before they arrive. Kuroda comes out first flanked by two sets of bikers, and he carries some kind of flag which could have been the old Team ZEN (Atsushi Onita's old invasion group in FMW) flag. Kuroda has awesome charisma and is a really good wrestler, already having a WEW World Title reign under his belt. He shouts something including what seems to be his catchphrase into the microphone, then Oya comes out with a female singer by the name of Tomomi Tanimoto and she is sat on a tradition Japanese cart. She steps off and starts singing a really pleasant song which the crowd clap along to with the urging of Oya.

Dreamer comes out with Francine looking very stone-faced and determined. After his music stops the fans raise their voices, very excited and Raven (using his unmodified version of "Come Out And Play") comes out to a big reaction. He is pretty popular in Japan. One of the announcers says, "ECW. This is hardcore." and Shane Douglas is also mentioned, probably in association with Francine who was his valet. They start with a four-way brawl with Raven being sent into the rail by Oya, then returning the favour. Tommy and Raven grab guardrails in the crowd and use them against the opposition. Unfortunately the lighting in the crowd was terrible so it was hard to follow. FMW has very good production but for some reason they keep the lights off the fans making it impossible to see them.

Kuroda hits Raven with a steel chair and tries a small package on the rope but Raven reverses and you know what this means! They roll down the ramp rolling over in the small package position. Kuroda gets another chair and sends it into the stomach of Raven then rushes backstage and brings a ladder, ramming it into Raven. Oya meanwhile throws some big kicks at Tommy, and Kuroda gets involved pushing the ladder on to Tommy from the top rope! Raven returns and whips Kuroda into the ladder, and Dreamer follows up by hitting a russian legsweep on Oya on the ladder. Raven sets the ladder up in the corner and sends Oya packing into it and then rams Kuroda's head into it. He tries repeating that move but it is reversed by Kuroda, who climbs to the top then is caught. Raven tries a suplex from the top on Kuroda but it is blocked and Raven is sent head-first down to the turnbuckle.

Kuroda misses a clothesline and gets the evenflow DDT, but Oya makes the save before the three count can be registered. Raven is angry and so hits the drop toehold on the chair to Oya, making another pin but this time Kuroda saves. Oya locks on a submission hold, but before he can properly apply is Francine gets in the ring and hits him with a chair which doesn't effect him to much. He grabs her and goes for the piledriver but Dreamer saves his valet with a chairshot to Oya's back. Tommy climbs the turnbuckles and walks across the second rope, screams "ECW" and comes off with an elbow but misses. Kuroda meanwhile rushes up the ramp and runs back down, dropkicking Raven. Oya gets caught in the tree of woe in the ring and Dreamer puts a table before his face then dropkicks it. Ouch!

Dreamer lays Oya out across the half setup table and hits a big splash from the turnbuckles but Kuroda is there to make the save. He throws a table at Tommy's head but Dreamer tries his DVD, only to have Kuroda escape off his back and hit a stiff sudden clothesline. He gets the pin and the FMW duo retain the straps at 11:13. After the match Tomomi sings again and Francine calls her into the ring for a fight. Tomomi merely keeps the pleasant smile on her face and walks off with them, singing their praises. The ECW duo leave unhappy.

WINNERS: Oya and Kuroda.

ECW Wrestling on TNN: Rhino Interview: (11/19/99) - Styles and Gertner introduce the show and just when they're about to start a segment, we hear Rhino's music and he comes out. Joey asks Rhino if he's the new Impact Player now that Justin and Lance are gone into hiding. Rhino said that the Impact Players were f***ing p*ssies. Styles announces that Rhino and Chris Candido will take on Dreamer and Raven for the titles in the main event. As Rhino leaves the ring, he was approached by Tammy Lynn Sytch, who wants to have a talk with him.

ECW World Tag Team Title Match: Raven & Dreamer w/Francine vs. Rhino w/Team Corino & Chris Candido w/Tammy Lynn Sytch - Dreamer & Candido start with a flurry of reversals and technical combinations and 2 missed enzuigari kicks by each that gets a good pop from the crowd. Dreamer tags in Raven and they hit a tandem face-plant powerbomb on Candido. Raven then tosses Candido outside as Dreamer hands Raven a garbage lid to hit Rhino with while Dreamer fights Candido. Raven hits a suicide plancha through the table on Rhino as Dreamer beats on Candido in the crowd. Raven and Dreamer are a 100% working tag unit through the match, cementing Raven's face turn. Candido and Dreamer brawl as Dreamer reaches for the hot tag to Raven but misses. Rhino tries to put Dreamer away but fails. Dreamer rallies and tags in Raven, who takes out Candido with a Stinger Splash! Raven hits Rhino with a chair, then the drop-toe-hold on a chair after a cool leapfrog spot where Rhino spears Chris! He goes for a pin, but comes short. Tommy tries to DVD Chris, but Tammy saves him with a nutshot. Tammy and Francine have a catfight, where Fran DDT's Tammy, and Dreamer uses the confusion to DDT Candido for the win. All hell breaks loose as Team Corino beats on Raven and Dreamer, Sandman appears to save them. Raven then tries to take out Sandman, who canes Dreamer by accident and rips Raven's shirt to shreds.

WINNERS: Raven and Dreamer

ECW Wrestling on TNN: Dreamer Promo (11/12/99) - The camera shows us an empty locker room. A grungy figure in combat boots talks about decadence and debauchery and how the world is out to get him. The figure says "What about me? What about Raven?" Of course, as he gets up, we realize it's not Raven at all, but rather Dreamer dressed up as Raven. Dreamer talks about how nothing Raven can do to him can equal the damage Raven has already done to him. Dreamer says that he doesn't care if Raven wants to beat him, because he doesn't care about his body. Dreamer then slams his head against the locker until it draws blood, and says he and Raven are bonded more unitely than friendship or hatred, they're bonded through blood and he knows that in the end "Scotty ... will do the right thing."

As the show progresses, Joey Styles and Joel Gertner plug an upcoming backstage interview. They state that Raven is at a crossroads in his career and this interview will clear up where he's going to go. Raven is shown pacing around watching the show on the monitor.

Raven Interference: Sandman vs. Rhino: At the onset of this match, Raven is shown watching it on the monitor backstage, on his feet and itching for action, like the babyface version of Raven in WCW, circa mid-1999. Sandman makes his extremely long entrance to Metallica as promos from other wrestlers are shown as he makes his entrance. Rhino dominates early, as Sandman puts up little resistance. The crowd is hot for Sandman, as even a "F**k him up, Hak! F**k him up, Hak!" chant breaks out. Sandman even hits a "heinekenrana" on Rhino, but Rhino takes control again. Corino runs in and Sandman hits The Singapore Sweep on him, Sandman then starts caning Rhino, the Impact Players run in and Justin savagelt canes Sandman. Dreamer runs in and helps Sandman, but Rhino nails Dreamer. Raven is backstage as a huge "Raven" chant breaks out. Raven runs to the ring and takes out Justin and even nails Justin with a phantom punch which JC oversells, he hits Dreamer with a chairshot and saves Dreamer. Raven then helps Dreamer up and "does the right thing." Of course, Sandman then gets up and starts caning the s**t out of Raven. Dreamer holds Sandman back, but Sandman breaks free and canes Raven again. Dreamer pulls Sandman off the beaten Raven, only to hold him back from beating Raven anymore.

WINNER: Sandman via Disqualification.

Raven Promo - Bizarre promo where Raven is in the back crying about how he did the right thing and why did he let the drunk beat him up? Raven then says his father beat him up & insinuates that his father raped his mother as well. He then bemoans why he was punished for doing what Tommy asked.

ECW November To Remember Pay-Per-View: Raven, The Sandman, & Tommy Dreamer vs. The Impact Players (Lance Storm & Justin Credible) & Rhino: (11/7/99) - This was a non-title six man tag team grudge match. First out was the rookie monster Rhino, then Justin Credible with Jason, then Lance Storm with Dawn Marie. Next came the opposition, first Tommy Dreamer with Francine, then Raven, then the Sandman made his entrance from the top of the building, walking through the fans. As Sandman finished his entrance, he spit a mouthful of beer at Rhino. The match started with Sandman facing off with Rhino, and the two grappled into the corner. They locked up again, and Rhino powered Sandman down. Sandman used a pull of the hair, and threw Rhino down. Both men tagged out, and it's Dreamer vs. Storm. They quickly went back and forth, and while Justin Credible tagged in, Raven refused, so it's Dreamer and Credible. Dreamer hit a hangman's neckbreaker, then tagged Sandman, but Justin ran from the ring, refusing to face off with him. Rhino intervened, and threw around the Sandman. Sandman went for a roll up, but Justin caned him, then willingly tagged in to face him. Lance came back in, and hit a handspring avalanche in the corner. Storm then helped set Sandman up for Rhino's "Gravedigger" superbomb from the second rope. The team of Rhino and the Impact Players kept Sandman from his corner, until Lance missed a top rope splash. Sandman went for a tag, and Raven punched Dreamer, took the tag and cleaned house on his opponents. It turned into a six man brawl, with pinfall attempts constantly being broken up. The ring cleared, and Raven hit a DDT on Credible, but Storm got back on and broke it up. Raven and Dreamer set Rhino on a table, then set up for a chair launch. Raven turned on Dreamer, dropping him on the chair, then went to put Rhino through the table, but Rhino moved. Sandman was left alone with the opponents, and used the Singapore cane. Dawn Marie and Francine got involved, and we got a catfight! Sandman grabbed Dawn, threatened to cane her, then kissed her instead. Sandman had Justin lined up for a caneshot, but Raven apparently was planning to do the same from the other side of the ring. Justin ducked, and Raven ended up caning Sandman. Justin then hit "That's Incredible" on the Sandman (which Raven did not try to stop), and as Lance Storm dragged Raven from the ring, Justin scored the pin on the Sandman to win the match.

The Pay-per-view broadcast ended with a highlight video of all the night's action. That's all from Buffalo!

WINNERS: The Impact Players and Rhino

ECW Wrestling on TNN: Opening Segment: Raven and Tommy Dreamer vs. Justin Credible and Lance Storm: (11/5/99) - The show this week opened up with Raven and Dreamer hitting stereo DDT's on the Impact Players, Lance and Justin, from their match at the 10/23/99 ECW Arena show. As Raven and Tommy were going for respective pins on each of their foes, in came Dawn Marie to break up the pinfall attempt. Francine runs in and a catfight breaks out. Tommy breaks it uo and is about to powerbomb Dawn Marie when Steve Corino's "Rookie Monster", Rhino, comes in and helps the Impact Players take control of the match. Raven gets hit in the head with a vicious cane blow by Justin Credible as Lance takes care of Tommy. Raven then starts to bleed heavily from the head. The referee Jim Molineaux counts to two as Steve Corino's posse makes it to the ring, when all of a sudden, the lights go out in the ECW Arena, The lights then come up on the Eagle's Nest as we hear the unmistakeable strains of Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' . . .

It's The Sandman! Hak has come back to ECW!

Sandman busts a beer can over his head as he makes his way to the ring. He then hits Jack Victory with his cane and then destroys what's left of it over Steve Corino's head. as the Impact Players and Rhino escape. Raven points nonchalantly at Sandman whilst in the corner. Sandman then looks at the fallen bloody Raven who gets up, confronts Sandman in the eyes, does the Crucifix and then leaves the ring alone. Sandman and Tommy Dreamer then have a beer rally as they rekindle their partnership while Raven goes off to lick his wounds. It's then announced Raven, Dreamer and Sandman will take on the Impact Players and Rhino at ECW's November To Remember PPV on 11/7/99.

Pulp Fiction: Raven Promo - ECW did another 'Pulp Fiction' promo montage to the tune of Dick Dale and the Del-Tones surf punk classic 'Miserlou' (the Pulp Fiction theme). The camera does a rapid ascent up a deserted movie theatre (kinda like the camera pan in NIN's 'Pinion' video) up to a dejected, bandana-clad Raven. Raven is bemoaned by the fact that Tommy Dreamer has let Sandman join "their little family" by being a part of their match at N2R. Raven asks "Why, Tommy? Why?" Raven then calls Lance Storm a little premadonna who'd look pretty with blood on his face, and he tells Justin Credible than he'd sooner watch his mother die than let Credible beat him because "It's better to have a condemned soul, than no soul at all . . . Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ." (I think the 'condemned soul line' is Raven's new catchphrase, since he says it so often now)
