WWE Sunday Night HEAT: Raven Appearance: Backstage Promo: (12.29.02) - The last HEAT of 2002 comes to us from Oklahoma City, OK as we see Raven backstage at HEAT speaking to The Hurricane about an undisclosed matter when he is suddenly interrupted by RAW Chief of Staff Sean Morley about his 'Masterpiece':
The Hurricane: " ... that's against everything that The Hurricane stands for."
Raven: "Look, all I'm saying is just think about it. Just think about it."
[Hurricane stares intensely at Raven then walks away. Chief Morley then approaches Raven.]
Chief Morley: "Raven, we need to speak to you about your 'Masterpiece.'
Raven: "Ah, the wayward flock returns to the shepherd."
Chief Morley: "Uh ... yeah. Listen, the administration is a little concerned about the way your 'Masterpiece' has been progressing."
Raven: "Concerned about what?"
Chief Morley: "Well, some of the things we've seen, quite frankly, disturb us and we'd like to nip this thing in the bud before it gets too out of control."
Raven: "What are you saying, Chief?"
Chief Morley: "What I'm saying is, I would like to make you an offer."
Raven: "Really? What kind of offer?"
Chief Morley: "Two weeks ago, I see you out in the parking lot of RAW. I know you want back in, Raven. What would you say if I offered you the chance to get back on RAW so long as you ended your masterpiece right now?"
Raven: "Alright, what do I gotta do for this, if I'm so inclined?"
Chief Morley: "You would have to win a match."
Raven: "That's no problem."
Chief Morley: "You would have to beat the man that defeated you to get you banned from RAW in the first place, Tommy Dreamer. You beat Dreamer tonight, you're back on RAW."
Raven: "So you're saying, give up my masterpiece, give up my shot at immortality by beating Dreamer and then I'm back on RAW?"
Chief Morley: "Back on RAW."
Raven: "I'll do it. I'll do it."
Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer - They air the PS2 Rewind which shows Dreamer defeating Raven 6 months and 4 days ago on June 24, 2002 which initially got Raven banned from RAW to start with. "End of Everything" hits the P.A. as Raven makes his way down to ringside for this match. Howard Finkel announces that if Raven wins this match, his ban from RAW will be lifted. Raven has new boots with kickpads that go up to the bottom of his kilt. Tommy Dreamer then comes down to the ring and referee Charles Robinson starts the match-up officially.
They lock-up and Raven goes for an immediate school-boy pin. They break off and Raven cackles at Dreamer as they lock up again. Raven goes for another fall attempt. Raven dominates on offense until Dreamer grabs Raven in a side-headlock and tries to do the Evenflow DDT on Raven. Raven drops out of the Evenflow and to the ropes and pulls his hair back to get his bearings. Raven gets pissed off and rips off his kilt in anger and charges at Dreamer. Dreamer knocks Raven down and Raven throws him out of the ring. They trade blows on the outside and Raven rolls back in. Dreamer follows in and gets stomped by Raven. Raven tries a telegraphed clothesline but hits Raven with a Dreamer Cutter for 2. Dreamer tries a sunset flip on Ravenf or 2, but Raven kicks out. Dreamer gets another cover off a clothesline. Dreamer whips Raven into the ropes and tries to gore him, but Raven drops and Dreamer impales himself on the post.
Raven takes the opportunity and whips Dreamer's arm into the post repeatedly. He stomps Dreamer down some more and then crushes his hand against the steel steps. Dreamer recoils in agony as Raven stalks back inside for a 2 count. Raven punches Dreamer some mroe and hits him with a top rope knee drop driver for 2. He then locks up Dreamer in a reverse armbar submission to get Dreamer to tap. Dreamer powers out but Raven puts him down and hits Dreamer with the Flatliner for a 2 count and locks Dreamer in an armbar again. Raven keeps up the wristlock as Dreamer powers out and hits Raven with a cradle DDT for 2. Dreamer then climbs the turnbuckle and starts biting Raven and punching him. He whips Raven across the ring and Raven hits with a shoulder tackle. Dreamer tries to capitalize and tries a variation of the Acid Drop/Dudley Dawg on Raven for 2. Dreamer goes for the Spiccoli Driver to put Raven away, but Raven uses the ropes to break it and reverses it into an attempted Raven Effect, but Dreamer reverses that into the Evenflow for a 3, except Raven had his foot on the ropes so the pin. doesn't count. Raven refuses to let go of the ropes and Dreamer goes to pull him off but hits Dreamer with a low blow as Robinson isn't looking and nails the pinfall off that. Raven wins and is now unbanned from RAW!
WINNER: Raven via Pinfall (5:43).

WWE Sunday Night HEAT: Raven Appearance/'Masterpiece' Promo: Pride - (12.22.02) - Sunday Night HEAT comes at you this week from Orlando, Florida. Jacqueline takes on Molly Holly in a match between former WWE Womens' Champions and Jackie puts away Molly with a spin kick for the pinfall victory. Jackie begins to celebrate her victory over Molly when we hear "End of Everything" by Stereomud come over the P.A. system and Raven makes his way down to ringside. Raven towers over Jackie which makes this all the more intimidating for the former Ms. Texas:
Raven: "Jackie, Jackie, Jackie, I'm sure you've heard about my masterpiece and I'm sure you saw - and I'm sure you saw what I did to that poor, pathetic, misguided soul Mike. He was hiding behind a mask of hypocrisy, much like you and everyone else out here. Thankfully, I exposed him for the greedy pig that he was. He realized the consequences of his actions and now he's been saved! Now Jackie, I can tell by the look in your eyes that you feel a little uncomfortable being this close to me. I can sense that you have a guilty conscience. I can smell the sin all over you."
[Raven is interrupted by the crowd booing him]
Raven: "As I was saying, don't try and hide it, Jackie. I mean, let's face it, you are a gorgeous woman with a gorgeous body. You should be so proud. I mean, is it pride that forces you to dress like a two-dollar tramp? Is it pride that forces you to flaunt your body and pervert the minds of these impressionable people? Jackie, your pride has put you in a precarious position. Consider me your SALVATION!"
Raven drops the mic and gets in Jackie's face ready to assault her when The Hurricane's music blares over the P.A. forcing Raven to scurry as Jackie takes off to avoid her punishment at Raven's hands. Hurricane runs into the ring and grabs Raven's mic as Raven paces facing the WWE's resident superhero with anger in his eyes:
The Hurricane: "Citizen Psycho, the only sin being committed here is you telling anybody what's right or wrong! Wait! Holy brainstorm! Why don't you come down that Hurri-ramp, stand in this Hurri-ring and show me what is up wid dat!"
Raven seethes and shakes in visible anger as Raven vs. The Hurricane is announced as the main event for HEAT tonight on MTV!
Raven vs. The Hurricane - We come back and Raven and Hurricane lock up in the ring. Raven takes the early offensive in the match against Hurricane, but Hurricane takes advantage of Raven's blind rage and is able to turn the tide of the match to his favor early on through a lot of reversals. Hurricane gets a 2 count off a top rope shoulder smash, but Raven counters that with a knee-lift which is countered by a drop toe hold by Hurricane. Hurricane clocks Raven for a 2 count with a spinning crescent kick. Raven slams Hurricane into the turnbuckles and tries a telegraph clothesline but that is rversed into a chokeslam attempt by Hurricane. Raven reverses that into the set-up side headlock for the Raven Effect, but Hurricane reverses that headlock into the Eye of the Hurricane for the 3 count upset victory over Raven.
WINNER: The Hurricane via Pinfall. (1:35)

WWE RAW: Raven Appearance: (12.16.02) - As we all know, Raven has been banned from appearing on WWE RAW ever since losing a "Loser Leaves RAW" match to Tommy Dreamer back on June 24, 2002. Ever since then, Raven has been relegated to appearing on WWE Sunday Night HEAT, which he has taken to calling his own personal playground where he has exacted revenge on Tommy Dreamer, D-Lo Brown and Matt Hardy during his exile. As of late, Raven has been busy unveiling his masterpiece, which he had promised would shed light on the depravity inherent in the WWE and its audience.
Tonight, Raven made a cryptic return to WWE RAW in Orlando, Florida. As the WWE cameras were in the parking garage area, we saw Test and Stacy Kiebler talking about Test's latest commercial endorsement. As they walked away, we saw in the corner of the screen a figure behind one of the WWE production crews. One of the cameramen zoomed in and sur enough, peeking out of the corners was Raven, clad in a black hoodie and jeans with reddish-brown braids. The camera zoomed in on him, allowing Jerry 'The King' Lawler to notice Raven's appearance as a skulker and remark as to what was up with Raven, possibly due to his ban. Next week promises more questions than answers, but for now The Raven has flown to the forefront of the RAW Roster.

WWE Sunday Night HEAT: Raven: 'Masterpiece' Promo - Greed: (12.08.02) - HEAT comes to us from Austin, Texas as we see Raven backstage at HEAT with a stagehand named Mike. Raven tells Mike that this week he's ready to unveil his masterpiece and has invited him to be a part of history:
Raven: "What's your name, kid?"
Kid: "Mike."
Raven: "Mike, the reason I've asked you to join me is tonight I begin my masterpiece. That's you and everyone else out there's first step towards salvation and my first step towards immortality. I know you and everyone else out there thinks that I'm some sort of psychotic fanatic, some sort of evil zealot. I want you to know that I'm not doing this for me; I'm doing this for you. I mean, that's why - open, open up - that's why I thought the intimate setting of a shared meal - a boxed lunch - would be an appropriate place to begin the first step of my masterpiece: greed. Do you consider yourself a greedy person, Mike?"
Mike: "No."
Raven: "Really? Well, so if I offered you my sandwich for a hundred dollars, would you eat it?"
Mike: "Yeah!"
Raven: "Alright. Well, hold on a second - hold that thought. Just wait one minute, Mike. This is the beginning of the masterpiece, you're going to be a part of history. Something - Something wonderful, something that you can tell your grandchildren about. So, allow me ..."
[Raven picks up the sandwich, places it on the floor and smashes it with his bare foot]
Raven: "So go ahead and eat the sandwich now, Mike."
Mike: [disgusted] "No way!"
Raven: "How about two hundred dollars?"
Mike: "No."
Raven: "Three hundred, Mike. Come on."
Mike: "Not a chance."
Raven: "Five hundred dollars. Five hundred dollars, Mike. Just to eat the sandwich. I mean, I cleaned my foot - the other day. Five hundred dollars. Let me roll this up for you."
Mike: "You mean where you put your foot?"
Raven: "No - five hundred dollars. Come on, Mike - go ahead. And don;t use your hands, just use your face."
Mike: "Ugh - what!?"
Raven: "Just use your face, Mike. Do you want the money or not?"
Mike: "Oh ... god."
Raven: "Do you want the money?!
Mike: " ... Yeah."
Raven: "Well then do it! Go ahead!"
[Mike eats the sandwich at Raven's feet]
Raven: "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you greed! Look at that - you're pathetic! You're just like everyone else out there who thinks they're above reproach. You're a hypocrite and you're a sinner. Here's your money."
[Raven throws it at him and he scrambles to pick up the bills as they flail in the air.]
Raven: "And here's your SALVATION!"
[Raven lunges at Mike, attacking him with his boot across the back of his head. He locks his arm in an armbar and then snaps two of Mike's fingers as he cringes in agony from the pain. Raven then walks away muttering to himself:]
Raven: "Sinners .... Sinners ..."

WWE Sunday Night HEAT: Backstage Promo: Raven: (12.01.02) - HEAT comes to us from North Charleston, South Carolina as the X BOX Rewind of the Week shows us Raven breaking Aaron Stevens' fingers last week on HEAT in Bridgeport, CT in an effort to make Stevens see the light of Raven's masterpiece. This week, we see a freshly shaved Raven sporting a Sandman VI shirt designed by Dave McKean in the bowels of the arena as he is approached by Howard Finkel:
Finkle: "Raven! Raven ... we have talked about many things over these past weeks. But what I witnessed last week, the breaking of the fingers of your opponent, really got to me. Why?"
Raven: "Howard, I broke his fingers because there must be CONSEQUENCES for one's choices. I'm trying to bring salvation to him, to you Howard, to everyone else out there. Breaking his fingers hurt me A HELL OF A LOT MORE THAN IT DID HIM! You see, society is made up of people who act one way in public and another way in private. They do not have the courage to stand up for their own filthy convictions. Therefore, I will be brave for them, Howard; that is why I'm creating a masterpiece. So that people can stand back and look at ten - twenty - a thousand years and see what a brilliant, courageous savior that I am! I will be granted immortality! And since I have nothing but time on my hands Howard, that is why I have held off starting my masterpiece. I thought I would give you people a chance to change. But obviously you either can't, or you won't. And therefore, I will do a demonstration. Each week my masterpiece will consist of demonstrations, using one of the seven deadly sins. Whether it be wrath, or sloth, or greed or pride. And one poor, unfortunate individual will be sacrificed, Howard; Because the needs of the many far outweigh the needs of the few. And these taken together as a whole, they will be my video masterpiece. Because they will show the world what society is, and show my courage in bringing it to them. Quote the Raven, nevermore."
Raven then leaves the room giving Finkel a chance to contemplate Raven's words.
