NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven/Styles/Russo Confrontation: (02.26.03] - Total Nonstop Action comes to you only on PPV straight from the heart of Nashville, Tennessee at the TNA Asylum. Vince Russo is doing a promo in the ring when he issues an open invitation to the NWA/TNA locker room to join Sports Entertainment Xtreme. Of all people, we hear A.J. Styles music as he coems down to the ring to seemingly confront Vince Russo over this offer. Instead, A.J. decides to take him up on the offer and join S.E.X. -- A.J. agreed with Russo's points and said it was time for a change and says although he doesn't agree with S.E.X.'s philosophy but if Russo can make him a champion, he'll sign with S.E.X. right now.

Suddenly, "Scream" by Dale Oliver hits the P.A. as Raven makes his way to the ring through the crowd. Raven has a mic and makes his way towards the ring:

Raven: "What about me? What about Raven? Out of my camera, kid, you're blocking the camera. Vince, you've brought me in here from the WWE to be your top boy, to be your big hitter, to be the NWA Champion as soon as I beat Jeff Jarrett. I'm not standing in line behind this X-Division midget-wannabe!"

Russo: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, let me tell you something, Raven. It's not about you, it's about me! It's about Sports Entertainment Xtreme! And you know what, I did bring you from the WWE -- that hellhole -- ok? But maybe I made a mistake Raven, because who followed you here? These ECW cronies -- the Sandman--"

Raven: "Hey-hey Vince, you know what -- hold on. This isn't about me and you -- for now. But you want to talk about the Sandman, let's talk about the Sandman. Do you really think this half-pint here could take the Sandman? I mean let's face it, as the philosopher Voltaire once said, 'Self-delusion is the key to happiness.' I mean, let's face it, as soon as he gets his cane and a garbage and a table and starts beating you upside the head, you're gonna be crying 'wahwahwah ..."

A.J. Styles: "Zip it! What are you, the new spokesmodel for Maybelline? What is it, Ravelline? Look, pal, you wouldn't last a second in the X-Division, not with that skirt on anyway. What can you do? You'd be blown up the second you get in there with any of 'em. And as far as Sandman goes, I'd whip him --I'd whip any wrestler in professional wrestling -- especially Sandman!"

Russo: "Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, hold on a minute. Now first of all, you both have something to prove to me and everybody else in that locker room --"

Raven: "Whoa-whoa-whoa, hold on Vince, hold on, wait a second, you think you can beat the Sandman, I'd like to see you wrestle him! But I'll tell you what, I'll take on one of your little X-Division buddies. Bring out any one of your little half-pint friends, I'll whup 'em all over the place."

[A.J. cuts down Raven some more before Russo cuts him off. Russo says that tonight A.J. will take on Sandman if TNA has the balls for it]

Raven: "He will kill you!"

Russo: "And you, we WILL put you in the ring with an X-Competitor and see what you're made of!"

[A.J. starts huffing loudly into the microphone making fun of Raven's cardio. They get in each other's faces yelling and shoving each other until A.J. leaves]

America's Most Wanted come out to confront Russo. They rush the ring to attack Russo and Raven stays to fight them off. The Hot Shots, Chase Stevens and Cassidy O'Reilly come out to fight off AMW. Hot Shots have joined S.E.X. and Raven supervises them as he orders them to beat down AMW and Raven, Hot Shots and Russo all leave through the crowd after TNA officials break up the melee.

It's announced that Raven will face The Sandman one-on-one next week on NWA/TNA on 3/5 in a "Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun" match.

X-Division Challenge Match: Raven vs. Julio Dinero - Prior to the match starting, we see Sonny Siaki attempting to be the defacto leader of S.E.X. with Vince Russo's absence. He says he can help Raven with some advice on his "House of Horrors" match if he explains it to him, Raven just shrugs him off, says "Whatever" and leaves. Raven makes his way to the ring sporting a Sandman long sleeve shirt designed by Dave McKean. He takes it off after doing the sign of the Crucifix on the top rope. We are then introduced to Raven's opponent, Julio Dinero, making his NWA/TNA debut after wrestling for some for ECW and XPW. Raven and Julio lock-up and go to the corner where the official breaks them up. Raven stretches and they lock-up again with the same result. Raven shoved off Dinero. A 3rd lock-up, Raven is whipped the ropes and shouldercharges Dinero down. Raven runs the rope again, Dinero ducks the clothesline and both men pace around each other again.4th lock-up and Dinero gets a head-scissors takedown on Raven. Raven charges Dinero, Dinero kicks Raven in the stomach then hits him with a European uppercut as Raven doubles over. Raven is stunned then the same scenario repeats with the kick and uppercut. Raven charges at Dinero with a clothesline, but Dinero does a takedown catching Raven off-balance for two, but Raven kicks out.

Dinero is still in control and punches Raven. Dinero whips Raven, Raven reverses but Dinero uses his momentum off the ropes to hit a spinning back kick on Raven for another 2 count. Raven gouges Dinero in the eye, then as Dinero staggers, Raven hits him with 3 left jabs. Raven goes for a strong right, but Dinero catches his arm and locks it up to reverse Raven's momentum into a reverse neckbreaker. Dinero showboats and goes up to the top for an Asai moonsault, but Raven sees it coming and rolls out as Dinero eats canvas. Raven pounces on the prone Dinero, kicking him then whipping him into the ropes and hitting a vicious lariat. Raven waits for Dinero to get up and pounces on him with a vicious knee-lift and then another that knocks him over the top rope. Raven goes outside and hits a side Russian legsweep into the guardrail. Raven dominates & rolls Julio back inside, working on his upper back and neck to soften him up for the Raven Effect. Raven then sinches in the Camel Clutch locking Dinero's face and neck as he sits on his upper back. Dinero is in extreme pain and Raven tries to let go then jump on his back some more to soften him further but Dinero turns and Raven gets an inverse atomic drop for his trouble.

Both men are down. Raven picks up Dinero and tries to whip him into teh corner, Dinero reverses and Raven props himself in the corner and hits Julio with a big boot. Raven charges Dinero, but Dinero hits Raven with a Sky-High powerbomb. Both men are down and the ref starts the count. Raven is up first. They trade blows, Dinero hits Raven with a flying forearm. Dinero locks Raven up in a pumphandle position, then does an airplane spin and splashes Raven down with a side-slam. Dinero gets 2. Raven hits a jawbreaker then rushes Dinero, but Dinero counters into a running powerslam for 2. Dinero charges Raven, but Raven ducks and Dinero splashes the referee by accident. Dinero hits a superkick on Raven but there's no one to count his fall on Raven. A.J. Styles comes down and knocks Dinero off the top rope. Raven gets up and hits the Evenflow for the pin on Dinero.

WINNER: Raven via Pinfall (6:00)

WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record for 2003: 8/5/0
WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record vs. Julio Dinero: 1/0/0

Raven then does the Crucifix as A.J. comes into the ring, laying into Raven that he wouldn't have beat Dinero without his help. Raven just shrugs him off and leaves.

Raven Interference: The Sandman vs. A.J. Styles - Mirroring the similar run-in A.J. did in Raven's match against Julio Dinero, Raven comes in and whacks Sandman across the back with a chair as he tries a top-rope Heinekenrana on Styles. Styles capitalizes and reversesnthe move into a top rope Styles Clash for the pinfall victory. Raven is told to leave and goes outside the ring, giving Styles the receipt as both men prove themselves to Russo.

Raven Promo - Don West hypes next week's "Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun" matchup versus The Sandman when the lights go out at the TNA Asylum. A spotlight comes on and it shines on Raven in teh rafters as he cuts a speech explaining the raison d'etre for this match:

"It's called a 'Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun' match. I have a destiny -- I have a destiny to ne NWA World Heavyweight Champion. I came here with one goal -- one purpose. But then I was sidetracked by a madman with a hard-on for my crucifixion! So, Sandman, I'm gonna put Jeff Jarrett on the backburner and next week I'm gonna take you in a Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun match. Originally, this only existed in my head, but now, next week, I will bring that creation to life!"

"Sandman, I am the way to the city of woe. I am the way to the forsaken people. I am the way to eternal sorrow. Walk with me, Sandman, for I am Raven. Walk with me Sandman through teh Clockwork Orange House of Fun match. On the top it will say, 'Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here.' The loser will be dumped unceremoniously from my perch through a pair of tables here. The rest of the creation you'll have to wait for next week to see because if I were to speak about it, it would not do it justice. So, Sandman, welcome to Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun. Quote the Raven, nevermore ..."

Later, Goldilocks interviews Sandman, who is in the back with Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger of ECW, who all talk about how ECW was a community of people dedicated to wrestling except for Raven who abandoned them for the money of WWE while they stuck with ECW until the end. Sandman accepts Raven's challenge and the match is on for next week!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IWC: Raven vs. Steve Corino: (02.22.03) - The main event saw the one and only RAVEN make his IWC debut, taking on former ECW Champion "King of Old School" STEVE CORINO (replacing the banned-from-Pennsylvania Sandman). Corino controlled most of the match, partially because he tried every shortcut he could, including using a foreign object he had hidden in his tights. In the end, however, Raven was able to come back, and Corino was on the receiving end of Raven’s Evenflow DDT for the 1-2-3.

WINNER: Raven via Pinfall.
WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record against Steve Corino: 2/0/0
WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record for 2003: 7/5/0

NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven Video Package: (02.19.03] - Total Nonstop Action comes to you only on PPV straight from the heart of Nashville, Tennessee at the TNA Asylum. The show opens up this week with a familiar sight as the screen fades in from black, we see clips from NWA/TNA on January 23, 2002 as Raven makes his debut in the National Wrestling Alliance by atacking Jeff Jarrett and stealing his title belt away from. We see clips of Raven joining Sports Entertainment Xtreme and we see him become Vince Russo's ally in the war of attrition against wrestling tradition. We then hear the opening strains of Raven's theme music in NWA/TNA [a somber gothic retread/mix of his WCW theme music] as the words QUOTE THE RAVEN appear on the screen in blood red against a black backdrop and morph into the word NEVERMORE. We see Raven in a balcony illuminated by a spotlight as the music plays and we hear a voiceover of his first promo in NWA/TNA:

"Possession is nine-tenths of the law, and what I'm wearing around my waist is the greatest prize this sport has to offer ... Welcome to Raven's clockwork orange house of fun. Quote the Raven, nevermore." We see clips of Raven's wars against Jarrett and Styles for the title, we see Raven and S.E.X. destroy Jeff Jarrett. This package recaps the major personalities and title chase in NWA/TNA in the past 4 weeks and does a good job establishing Raven as one of TNA's top names. It also establishes and recaps Sandman being sent in to take Raven out by J.J. Dillon, which in turn leads to tonight's match pitting Raven and Low Ki of S.E.X. versus TNA's "King of Old School" Steve Corino and the original "Extreme Icon" himself, The Sandman by showing how Low Ki was instrumental in Raven defeating Sandman last week and Corino stepping in to take out Ki.

Raven Promo - We cut to the back and Raven is sitting in the garage area on TNA as Goldylocks attempts to interview him. Raven has a huge ankh painted on his left pectoral muscle and the words SANDMAN MUST DIE written across the rest of his torso with black lines drawn going straight up and down his eyes. Raven snatches the mic from Goldylocks and speaks directly to the camera:

"Once upon a time, I was a sad, bitter, lonely child. There was a void in my life, I could not fill. It was a tortured existence; teased by the other children, raised by cold, apathetic parents who only wanted one child -- my sister -- I was the accident that they never wanted and they were not shy about reminding me of that fact! Then, I met a woman. A beautiful, loving woman -- Lori and her son. They became my family. This was the happiest time of my life. All this joy made everything that I went through worthwhile. It was the happiest time of my life. We were a loving happy family, until Sandman took his wife and kid back! I will never forgive you for that, even if it takes an eternity! I want you to know hurt. I want you to know pain. I want you to know humiliation. I want you to wake up in the morning, praying for divine intervention to end your miserable life. My miserable life, however, it got better. I began looking forward to the pain. i began to enjoy it. And now, Sandman, I walk through horror with red kisses from murderous gods blistering my priestly flesh. Walk with me, Sandman, for I am Raven. Walk with me, Sandman, through paths of hatred. Walk with me, through paths of cruelty. Walk with me through Raven's clockwork orange house of fun. Quote the Raven, nevermore."

Tenay and West interrogate Sandman, who names Raven as his toughest opponent. He associates Raven with Sandman and that he is synonymous with hardcore wrestling.

Raven & Low Ki vs. The Sandman & Steve Corino - Raven and Low Ki enter through the crowd with Raven's music playing. Raven goes to the top turnbuckle and does the Crucifix and we can clearly see that he has SANDMAN MUST DIE scrawled on his chest as Low Ki stalks the ring. Sandman and Corino come out through the TNA ring entrance, wearing matching TNA shirts. Sandman and Corino bust open 2 beers and chug em as Sandman bashes the can on his head. They go through the crowd and continue to drink beer and pose with the fans as Sandman's music plays as Raven and Ki pace the ring. Raven and Ki get pissed and charge the crowd to attack the former ECW Champions as the match gets underway.

It quickly turns into a full blown brawl. Sandman targets Raven early and starts to lay punches into him. Sandman drags Raven around the Asylun and keep laying into him cheered on by the crowd. Sandman ad Corino toss Raven and Ki into trash cans in the back. Sandman dumps a trash cna on Raven, then cracks him with another while Raven is still caught. Raven takes the brunt of the blows early. Tenay mentions that their shared history goes back to ECW. Raven gets some blows into Sandman and he and Ki drag Sandman to a table as Raven picks up Sandman and sets-up and piledrives Sandman through the table, sending them both crashing through to the floor as Sandman is spiked to the concrete. Corino clocks Raven with a trash lid and he cracks Ki immediately after. Raven is in the ring as Corino is in control. Raven is punch drunk and stumbling as Ki comes in and he rams Ki into Raven propped in the corner. He then suprkicks Raven and chokes him with the boot in the corner. Ki hits a heel kick, which gets Raven back in the game. Ki and Raven hit a variation of Total Elimination on Corino as we see Sandman crawling to the ring with a Singapore Cane in hand.

Ki tags in Raven as Raven lays in elbows on Corino and then hits a snap suplex on Corino. Raven sets up a drop toe hold, Corino reverses, but Raven stops the momentum, grabs the chair and folds it, whacking a prone Corino with it. Ki gets tagged back in as he wails on Corino. Corino is busted open from Raven's chair shot. Raven comes in and tries to lariat Steve, but Steve reverses it into a side headlock. Ki runs in and Corino locks him up too and Corino hits a double DDT as Sandman bangs a trash can to get Corino to hear him so he can tag out. Sandman cleans house with the garbage can and Raven eats drop toe hold on the trash can. Sandman sets up the can between the ropes and Sandman drop toe holds Ki into it for 2. Raven compacts the can into Sandman's head as Corino runs in and hits a wicked over the top clothesline that sends both men to the floor. Ki gets a 2 on Sandman as Raven and Corino try to get their bearings. Raven trips Sandman on a toe hold attempt as Corino then punches Raven around the ring. Ki is whipped into the ropes, but reverses that momentum into an attempted 619, but Sandman catches him as he lands and hits Ki with the White Russian Legsweep for 2. Raven sneaks in there ing from behind, snatches the cane from Sandman, kicks him in the guy then plants him with Evenflow for 3 as Sandman feels the Raven Effect as S.E.X. comes out on top!

3PW: Raven vs. The Blue Meanie: (02.15.03) - Meanie's music plays get a small pop and he comes down to the ring with Mini-Me. Raven gets a mic and speaks. He says that he created the Meanie, and that he has much respect and love for him. Raven also says that he doesn't want to have to kick his ass. Raven then he goes on to say that he thinks the people want to see him get a shot for the 3PW Title and not have the 2nd match of the night. Then Gary Wolfe, formerly known in ECW as Pitbull #1, the current 3PW champion, comes down to the ring. His music plays and he comes out onto of the ramp with his title. He welcome Raven back to the Indy. Then he offers him a title shot in the 3-way dance against himself and Xavier, the current Ring of Honor champion. Raven accepts and tells him he likes his music but "good music does not a make good a wrestler." Raven then welcomes him to the clockwork orange ride in Raven's house of fun and ends with the ever famous "Quote the Raven, nevermore!" Then Gary Wolfe leaves and Raven get up and runs at Meanie who has his back turned and he hit him over the head with the mic and nails The Raven Effect/Evenflow DDT and gets the 1..2..3! Then once again another 3 man grapple and Xavier is pushed and Raven and Pitbull #1 lock up. Xavier runs at Raven as he is in the lock up and he counters. Xavier tries once again with the same effect. Gary Wolfe takes over and Raven goes down. Xavier gets thrown out of the ring by Gary Wolfe. Gary Wolfe thengets a table and put it the corner. Gary Wolfe and Raven battle it out and Raven goes through the table and rolls to the out side and lays there. Gary Wolfe and Xavier do battle as Raven regains his strength. Xavier is on the outside and sees Raven up and whips him into the guardrails and enters back into the fight with Gary Wolfe. Then Raven tries to get back into the ring and Xavier throws him off the apron. Then once again the same deal. Finally Raven sneaks in and rests in the corner. NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven/S.E.X. Appearance Recap: (02.12.03] - NWA/TNA opened up this week with a recap of the actions that took place after TNA on 2/5 went off the air. We saw Raven and Sports Entertainment Xtreme crucify Jeff Jarrett to the ring ropes with his hands bound in rope. We then see Russo berate Jarrett as Russo, Low Ki and Raven take turns beating Jarrett's back bloody with Raven's studded leather strap. Jarrett is eventually cut down and regains his NWA World Title - but at what cost?

Tonight, NWA/TNA's Mike Tenay announces that Bullet Bob Armstrong is stepping down as TNA's NWA representative. J.J. Dillon, the former head of the WCW Executive Committee, is announced as his replacement. J.J. brings in someone in to target S.E.X.'s ace in the hole Raven and that someone is none other than -- THE SANDMAN!

Raven/Sandman Backstage Confrontation - Vince Russo is backstage with GoldyLocks waiting for Raven to arrive at the TNA Asylum to see if Raven can explain why Sandman is in TNA. Russo confronts Raven who is shocked to hear that Sandman is in TNA. Suddenly, Sandman appears in the back, swinging a kendo stick at Raven's head. Raven ducks and runs to the back as Sandman chases him down. Sandman then locks the S.E.X. locker room entrance from the outside so Raven can't get out to get him.

Raven/Goldylocks Interview - Goldylocks is in the back with Raven, wanting to ask him about The Sandman in TNA:

Goldylocks: "Raven!"
Raven: "What?"
Goldylocks: "Guess what goes around, comes around, huh? Bet in your wildest dreams you'd never thought you'd be wrestling Sandman tonight?"
Raven: "You know -- what is this about? You know, Sandman and I go back a long way. Apparently, Sandman feels that he -- that I deserve some sort of revenge for what he did to me. I mean, granted, his wife and him were -- they were separated when I took his wife from him. And it's not my fault that his kid left him -- that his son, Tyler Fullington, left him for me 'cause he thought that I would make a better parent than his drunken father. I mean, the fact that no matter where I go, no matter what promotion I wrestle in, he shows up and causes havoc. This is bullshit! This is a bunch of crap, man! What is this now!? What is this!?"

[Raven spies AJ Styles arriving to the building]

Goldylocks: "I don't know what's going on here."
Raven: "Apparently, AJ Styles can't get out of a car."

AJ then runs out and spears Raven, knocking him through some debris and they wrestle on the ground with punches. TNA officials separate the two as Tenay notes that AJ's fingers were dislocated last week by Raven.

Tenay then announces that J.J. Dillon has set Raven vs. The Sandman as the main event for TNA tonight. Furthermore, the match will be falls-count-anywhere!

Falls Count Anywhere: Raven vs. The Sandman - Raven makes his way out to the ring first, representing Sports Entertainment Xtreme. Raven has the word "FATE" scrawled on his chest in black paint. Tenay notes the epic nature of these men's hatred for each other, going back to Extreme Championship Wrestling, when Raven took the Sandman's wife from him and his son to twist Sandman in order to make Sandman easy prey for Raven's championship ambition. Sandman then makes his way out chugging beers sporting a bloody forehead with his Singapore cane. Raven starts the match of by nailing Sandman with a baseball slide dropkick. Raven picks Sandman up and tries to whip him to the steel guardrail, but Sandman reverses and sends Raven hurtling into the steel. Sandman then grabs a whole section of guardrail and tosses it into the ring! Raven and Sandman make it back in the ring and Sandman whips Raven into the ropes and drops him into the guardrail with a drop toehold. Sandman props the rail up again and grabs Raven and hits an atomic drop on Raven on the rail. Sandman hits a left arm lariat on the man from the Bowery, sending him out of the ring.

Sandman goes outside and punches Raven, but Raven rolls back in, as we see he's busted wide open, bleeding from the forehead. Raven then whips Sandman into the guardrail which is propped up on one of the turnbuckles. Both men are cringing in pain on the ground. Raven pulls Sandman outside and tosses the man once known as Hak in WCW into the crowd. Raven and Hak fight through the crowd and make it to the entrance ramp. Raven tries a pin but just gets a 2 from referee Andrew Thomas. Raven grabs Sandman and hits him with a snap suplex as West notes he's in total control of the Sandman. Raven grabs a trash can and a chair and bashes Hak with the chair on the lower back. Hak is in agony. The crowd chants RAVEN SUCKS to get under his skin.

Raven and Sandman make it back in the ring and Raven tosses in a trash can to continue this orgy of violence on Sandman. Raven locks Sandman in an open mouthed facelock and stretches him on the ropes some more. Raven stomps Sandman down as the commentators note that this is just the latest chapter in the personal rivalry between these men. Raven yells at the fans to shut up as they chant RAVEN SUCKS at him. Raven sets up a chair in teh ropes and rams Sandman into it for a 2 count. Raven props the chair again and Sandman reverses it and drops Raven onto the chair with a toehold. Sandman grabs a trashcan and bashes Raven about the head with it. He does it again and again but Raven doesn't drop until the 4th hit! Raven's hair is blood red at this point and Sandman gets a 2 count. They go to the floor. They make their way to a table in the back and Sandman sets Raven up on it in order to do a dive into Raven and finish him off once and for all. But Low Ki shows up and punches Sandman then shoves him off the balcony as Raven moves off the table and Sandman eats a 10 foot dive through the table. Raven crawls over Sandman and gets the pinfall and his first victory in NWA/TNA!

WINNER: Raven via Pinfall. (7:29)

Afterwards, Low Ki props Raven up as they try to make their way out of the building. But Steve Corino comes over and nails Raven and grabs Ki and drags him to the ring. The Disciples of the New Church grabs Raven and toss Raven over the rail. Raven snaps out of it and runs in there and knocks Corino down with a vicious clothesline. Sandman recovers and runs down to the ring and whacks Raven with the cane and props him in the corner punching him. Russo sends S.E.X. down and they string up Corino and Sandman to the ropes. Jeff Jarrett then runs down and cloks Raven as he makes his way down to save Corino and Sandman. AJ Styles then runs down and knocks Jarrett down with the Styles Clash on the chair as the show ends.

OFF THE AIR REPORT
Exclusive to ScottLevy.com

As the show went off the air, the last thing that we saw was S.E.X. trying to tie up Corino and Sandman like they did Jarrett last week, Jarrett taking out Raven, and A.J. taking out Jarrett with the Styles Clash on a chair.

After the show this week, it was more of the same that you saw when the show was going off the air. The Sandman beat the hell out of Raven, and choked him to near death with a rope. Raven was being kicked by a TNA member while Sandman was choking him out. Sandman and Raven brawled together for the most part, with the Sandman getting the money end of it.

The Harris Boys came over and knocked the Sandman out with a chair and got him off of Raven, and drug Raven to the back. Raven was bleeding alot more after the show than he was during the show. Sandman was a bloody mess as well.

Sandman was just flailing around the ring at the end of the show. All of the NWA TNA Locker room celebrating in the ring, and Sandman was kinda rolling around the ring like he couldn't stand up. Kid Kash helped him up and propped him up against the ropes, and he fell through the ropes to the floor. Sandman crawled to the ramp and was helped to the back.

The Harris boys carried Raven off through the crowd to the S.E.X. Locker room.

WWA New England: Raven vs. Aron Stevens: (02.08.03) - Raven again wrestled for WWA New England, this time in Pepperell, MA. Sabu was once again unable to make it to the show because of a snowstorm and inability to catch a flight in to Massachusetts, so Raven once again faced the challenge of Aron Stevens, the man whose fingers he broke back on HEAT in November of 2002 in a bid on Aron's part to get some revenge and a measure of respect back from the Poet of the Macabre. Despite his desire, Stevens fell prey to what has become known as the Raven Effect as Raven put him away for the win for the second straight night with the Evenflow DDT.
WINNER: Raven via Pinfall.

WWA New England: Raven vs. Aron Stevens: (02.07.03) - Raven wrestled for the World Wrestling Alliance in Lynn, MA and was scheduled to face former ECW World Champion and feloow ECW alumnus Sabu. However, Sabu couldn't get to the show due to a snowstorm and Raven was without an opponent. Stevens got on the mic and called out Raven. You may remember that Raven and Aron Stevens have some history back in Raven's former playground of WWE HEAT. Raven had talked to Stevens back in Bridgeport, CT on the 11/24/02 edition asking him to confess that his life was false to gain salvation from Raven's masterpiece. Stevens refused and Raven fought him on HEAT, beating him in 1:47 and then proceeded to break his fingers for his insolence. Stevens wanted revenge against Raven for this and Raven came out. Stevens had an early advantage, but Raven ended it quickly by hitting the Evenflow on Stevens, unleashing the Raven Effect for the win.

NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven Appearance/Promo: B.G. James vs. Tenacious Z: (02.05.03] - We're live at the Asylum tonight as Tenacious Z, a wrestler with only one leg, manages to get a win off the former "Road Dogg" B.G. James via a small package roll-up after James gets decked by his brother, referee Scott Armstrong. In the ensuing melee following Z's win, Raven, sporting a black face paint and a black cassock] runs in and starts to attack the amputeed Tenacious Z. James joins in on the mauling until the TNA officials drag Z out of the ring by his leg, rescuing from the S.E.X. onslaught.
Raven gets on the mic as Road Dogg leaves the ring and he proceeds to cut a promo as the officials take Tenacious Z to the back:

"Hey Security, remove that debris from my sight! A.J. Styles, you have property that belongs to me. Possession is 9/10ths of the law and you possess the NWA World Heavyweight Title. You need to bring that to me right now! I mean, you do realize that you are a mere gardener in the yard of life, while I - I walk a different road. A road of horror, a narrow road with no turns that only the bravest of men would dare travel. Pain, pain is a bridge on that road carrying the traveler over dark waters of deceit and scorn. Debt, a debt incurred in this road is a lifelong bond; a hunger to be satiated is a debt of blood and it requires sacrifice. Your sacrifice, A.J. Styles! So, A.J. Styles, unless you are a pussy of the greatest magnitude, you will attempt to come down here and keep me from regaining my possession and granting you an eternity of youthful oblivion. A.J. Styles, you claim to have beaten everyone, but you haven't beaten anyone until you've taken a walk through Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun, you arrogant little pussy! Quote the Raven, nevermore!"

With that, A.J., who has been standing on the entranceway wearing the NWA World Heavyweight title, charges the ring, taking his belt off, but Raven ambushes him with a "Mr. Wrestling II" kneelift as he comes in the ring and then another. Raven pounds Styles down and is in complete command of Styles in this impromptu match. Raven stretches Styles with an open-mouthed chinlock as Don West mentions that they're fighting over a title neither man actually holds. Styles stuns Raven with a spinning crescent kick to get out of the ropes and follows that up with an irish whip as Raven ducks to the outside. A.J. nails Raven with a baseball slide dropkick into the metal crowd barricades at ringside. A.J. whips Raven across the aprong into the opposite ring barricade which Raven eats at full force. Raven ducks into the ring and Styles follows, but Raven beats him down with repeated kicks to the head. Raven whips A.J. into teh ropes and hits him with a telegraphed clothesline and and then skulks before nailing A.J. with another knee-lift as Raven dominates the match. Raven motions the Crucifix which gets the crowd behind him as Raven picks up the NWA World Title. Styles comes back and knocks Raven down with a series of kicks and charges. Raven then locks A.J. Styles up and snaps his fingers and A.J. reels in agony as Raven does it again! Raven then grabs the NWA World Title and leaves the ring as Larry Zbyssko, A.J.'s manager and a series of TNA officials come down to separate Styles and Raven. Raven then walks out of the TNA Asylum with the belt.

Later on in the show, as S.E.X. rumbles with the forces of TNA, Raven makes his way to the ring alongside Vince Russo supervising the melee going on around him, but stands apart from the carnage. Russo signals to Glen Gilberti, asking how his de-programming of Jeff Jarrett went, only to have Jarrett unmask in front of Russo, foiling his plans.

OFF THE AIR REPORT
Exclusive to ScottLevy.com

As the PPV went off the air, Jeff Jarrett was revealed as being under the hood, and he attacked Russo and S.E.X.

For the TV viewing audience that is where the show stopped, but for those in attendance, the show had really only just begun.

Jarrett only had a fleeting chance in this battle is his situation, as he found himself taking on every member of S.E.X. This didn't last very long, however. He nailed Russo and the Harris Boys, and threw punches to literally every other member of Sports Entertainment Xtreme, but one -- Raven.

Raven put a stop to Jarretts onslaught, and the entire roster of Vince Russo's Sports Entertainment Xtreme swamped Jarrett. Jorge Estrada made an ill advised attempt for a save. He was quickly disposed of by Glen Gilberti.

S.E.X. simply overpowered Jarrett, beat the shit out of him, and then subdued him. Every member of S.E.X. helped to restrain Jarrett, as Raven stood before them. They held Jarrett up, and Raven got right in Jarrett's face, taunting him. All the while, several members of S.E.X. were throwing wild punches and kicks in Jarrett's direction. Jarrett was screaming at Raven and Russo, and all at once Russo's Henchmen let Jarrett go, and he fell forward, right into an Evenflow DDT. It was truly a thing of beauty.

Raven stood over Jarrett with the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Jarrett laid motionless in the ring, and Raven commanded the Vultures back onto Jarrett to pick the bones from his beaten carcass. Raven went for the ropes that he had brought to the ring, and instructed the Harris Boys to string him up. They tied one rope to one arm, and one to the other. Raven and S.E.X. pummelled Jarrett some more, then threw him to the outside of the ring. The Harris Boys remained in the ring, and each had the other end of one of the ropes. They pulled the slack out of the ropes, and it pulled the unconcious Jarrett up vertical on the outside, with his chest to the ring apron and ring ropes, and his back exposed.

Russo told Raven to get the belt, and Raven grabbed both the NWA World Heavyweight Title and what looked to ba a studded Leather strap belt that he had brought to ringside along with the ropes earlier.

Russo got on the mic and declared that this was going to hurt Jarrett alot more than it was going to hurt him. Russo laid into Jarrett with the strap, over and over... all the while yelling and berating him. Then he handed off the belt to Low Ki, who took a few shots at Jarrett. Low Ki handed the belt off to B.G. James, who beat the absolute shit out of Jarrett with the belt, before handing the bet over to "Prime Time" Elix Skipper. Skipper talked some trash about this being his house, and he took Jarrett to town with the strap. All the while, Raven was looking on in satisfaction at the carnage he and his cronies were causing.

Raven took the NWA Heavyweight Title, and put it right into Jarrett's face, Raven was literally head to head with Jarrett screaming at him, pushing the World Title belt into his face. Raven then took the N.W.A. World Heavyweight Title, and put it around Jarretts waist backwards. Russo gave Jarrett a few more lashings, before he turned the strap over to Raven. Jarretts back was allready scarred and blistered, bloody and bruised, even before Raven got to him. Raven beat Jarrett unceramoniously, about the back and upper torso. Raven lashed Jarrett several times, before Jerry Lynn, The New Church, Amazing Red, Kid Kash, Trinity, and America's Most Wanted FINALLY came out to stop what was allready a done deed. It was a little late for a run in.

Raven escaped unscathed through the crowd, and let the rest of S.E.X fight the battle.

Security eventually broke it up and both sides retreated to their respective dressing rooms.

They had to haul Jarrett out ... he didn't leave on his own power. He had one very ghastly bloody streak on his back where the strap literally split the flesh ... and he had A LOT of marks and bruises. The show was officially over at this point.
