3PW: Raven & The Sandman vs. John Zandig & Wifebeater: (12.27.03)

3PW: Raven & The Sandman vs. John Zandig & Wifebeater: (12.27.03) - 3PW Commissioner Raven came to the ring with Jack Victory, and said he was more twisted than usual tonight. Raven told ring announcer Bob Artese to introduce more wrestlers, then cut off Sandman's music, and had Jack Victory take away his cigarettes. Raven then took away his beer, banning Sandman's three trademarks. Victory took the beer away, and started drinking it. Zandig then made his entrance, and Raven cut his music. Raven told the fans there would be no CZW chants from the fans, and had Victory take away Zandig's water and mocked his water spitting entrance. Raven said that since he never met Messiah, he wouldn't team with him and sent him home. Raven said that he didn't like Sandman, but he did know him, so Sandman would be his partner, despite his protests. Raven told Zandig to go to the back and find himself a partner. Zandig said that if he and his partner beat Raven and Sandman, that he wanted to be the man that makes the stipulations tonight. Zandig then brought out the Wifebeater. Raven and Co. attacked Zandig, as Wifebeater came to the ring to start the match. Raven got on the mic and yelled at Sandman to "get them". Raven got on the mic and said that CZW stands for "Crappy Zithead Wrestling." Sandman hit a hiptoss and armdrag on Wifebeater, and Raven said he must be high, since it looked like Sandman was wrestling.

Sandman continued to wrestle, working on Wifebeater's arm, then tossing him through the ropes to the floor. The brawl went to the floor, and up onto the lower stage. Wifebeater was slammed off the top stage by Sandman and Raven through a table on the bottom stage. Zandig was busted open as he fought Raven and Sandman back to ringside. Raven worked over Zandig with a piece of wood. Raven brought a chair into the ring, and drop toe holded Zandig into the chair. Raven and Sandman argued, despite being partners. Zandig reversed a whip and sent Raven into a chair that was wedged in the corner. Zandig hit Sandman with a spinebuster. Raven hit Zandig with a lariat. Raven hit Zandig with the mic and asked him to quit, but he refused. Sandman refused to help Raven, and stood on the floor, refuing to tag in. Raven hit a vertical suplex for a two count. Raven put Zandig in the cobra clutch, but Zandig broke free. Sandman came in but Zandig clotheslined Raven and Sandman after ducking a double clothesline attempt. Wifebeater was back, and got tagged in. Wifebeater cleaned house, fistdropping Raven in the groin. Wifebeater hit a powerslam on Sandman for two, and a chokebomb, but Raven pulled the referee from the ring. Victory hit Wifebeater with two chairshots, and Sandman rolled him up for a two count. Wifebeater tagged in Zandig, and the bloody Zandig chopped Sandman in the corner, then went to whip him into a table, but Sandman reversed it into the White Russian Legsweep. Raven came in and clotheslined both opponents, hitting a kneelift on Zandig and a bulldog on Wifebeater. Raven then bulldogged Zandig into the table. Raven went for a DDT on Wifebeater, but Sandman grabbed Raven, DDT'd him, and Wifebeater got on top for the pin in 14:15.

WINNERS: Wifebeater & Zandig via Pinfall

Zandig said that he gets to make the stipulations now, so he gave Sandman a cigarette and a beer and the soundman play his music. Sandman, Wifebeater and Zandig then had some beers to end the show.

NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven & The Gathering [CM Punk & Julio Dinero] vs. Abyss, Kevin Northcutt & Legend: (12.17.03)

NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven & The Gathering [CM Punk & Julio Dinero] vs. Abyss, Kevin Northcutt & Legend: (12.17.03) - This is what it all comes down to: if Raven beats TNA Management Consultant Don Callis' Redshirt Security ensemble of Abyss, Northcutt and Legend, Raven will get his chance at destiny: an NWA World Title shot against Jeff Jarrett on January 7, 2004. However, if Raven does not defeat the team, Raven will NEVER get another shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Prior to this epic matchup, Scott Hudson interviewed CM Punk, Julio Dinero & Raven. CM Punk said the Gathering was united, and that Raven would get "everything he deserves". Raven talked about the darkness in his soul, and promised to bring fury, rage and chaos to the steel cage match tonight. Raven promised to win the cage match, and to fulfill his destiny by winning the World Title from Jeff Jarrett on January 7th.

Abyss and the Red Shirts brought a table into the cage as they came out. The Gathering came out with an assortment of weapons. All six men immediately started brawling. Abyss and the Red Shirts went on the offense first, tossing Raven into the cage and hitting the Gathering with weapons. Abyss repeatedly hit Dinero with a trash can lid. Raven and Julio Dinero were busted open inside of a minute. Punk lasted until the second minute of the match before he was bleeding as well. Legend rubbed a bloody Raven's face against the cage. Northcutt did the same to Dinero. Abyss choked Punk with a chain. Raven fought back using cookie sheets to hit Legend, but Legend hit him with a low blow. Northcutt blasted Dinero with a trash can lid. Legend put Punk over his shoulder and rammed him headfirst into the cage. Raven and the Gathering made a simultaneous comeback, hitting clotheslines, whipping all their opponents together, then hitting them all with superkicks.

The Gathering then hit a triple superkick on Abyss, who didn't go down from just one. The Gathering now took over, using the weapons on Legend, Northcutt & Abyss. Northcutt was busted open. Abyss kicked Raven down, and the Red Shirts mounted a comeback. Legend gave Punk a facebuster into a cookie sheet. Northcutt gave Dinero a German suplex. Abyss gave Punk a drop-down torture rack. Northcutt powerbombed Dinero, ramming him into the cage first. Two tables were set up in the ring, stacked on top of each other. Dinero was placed on top of the two tables, as Legend climbed to the top of the cage. Punk went after Legend, and slammed him down form the top of the cage. Raven pulled Dinero off the tables. Kid Kash and Glen Gilberti ran out to interfere, but Erik Watts and Don Harris ran out to stop them, brawling into the crowd. Jeff Jarrett tossed handcuffs into the cage. AJ Styles came out and brawled with Jarrett up the ramp, as Sting brawled with Jarrett back down the ramp. In the cage, Punk came off the top of the cage, putting Abyss through the two tables. Styles and Sting were taking turns splashing Jarrett against the outside of the cage, then dragged him to the back. Raven and the Gathering got the handcuffs that Jarrett tossed in and used them against the Red Shirts, handcuffing them to the ropes. They left Abyss alone against three men. Abyss still managed to hit the Black Hole Slam on Raven and toss Punk and Dinero into the cage. Raven hit Abyss with a chair shot. The Gathering gave Conchairtos to the Red Shirt Security. Raven picked up Abyss for a DDT, but Punk and Dinero turned on Raven and gave him a Conchairto. Abyss got the pin on Raven at the thirteen minute mark.

WINNERS: Abyss, Northcutt & Legend via Pinfall

Post match, CM Punk & Julio Dinero stood over the defeated Raven and did his crucifix pose as the PPV ended.

IWC: Raven vs. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas: (12.12.03) - International Wrestling Cartel ran in Johnstown, PA and featured a bout which saw very little time actually in the ring, the Johnstown Street Fight between "The Franchise" Shane Douglas and Raven. Douglas had some prematch comments for the crowd: in addition to expletive-filled diatribes toward some of his former bosses in the wrestling world, he expressed his displeasure for being in Johnstown, as he'd much rather be back in his hometown of Pittsburgh, a statement that quickly turned the crowd against him. Raven responded by stating that Shane may have once been a "Franchise" but now he looks more like "The French Fries." After that, the fight was on! Raven and Douglas tore through the entire Cambria County War Memorial, destroying fans' chairs and the ringside guardrail in the process. No one was safe, not even referee Christopher Kalikapela who was sandwiched in the corner by both men, knocking the wind out of him. The Franchise used the momentary confusion to pull a steel chain out from his attire and use it across Raven's forehead. When the referee returned to his feet, he saw The Franchise on top of Raven, counted to three, and proclaimed Shane Douglas the victor.

WINNER: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas via Pinfall

WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record for 2003: 45/28/1

NWA Total Nonstop Action: Raven vs. Abyss: (12.10.03) - Abyss slowly worked on Raven in the beginning, in and out of the ring, then nailed a brutal drop torture rack on him. Raven managed to kick. Abyss wanted another, but took a springboard bulldog instead. Legend distracted so the ref wouldn’t count. Legend & Northcutt are on my PPV way too much. Raven took a nasty spear through a propped up in the corner table. Raven managed to snap an Evenflow DDT on Abyss, but Legend pulled the ref out of the ring. Northcutt hit the half pump handle full nelson on Raven, but Raven kicked out of Abyss’ pin. In the end, The Red Shirts got Abyss disqualified.

WINNER: Raven via Disqualification

WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record for 2003: 45/27/1
WIN/LOSS/DRAW Singles Record vs. Abyss: 1/0/0
After the match, Raven took a Black Hole Slam from Abyss. Dinero & Punk ran out and the faces cleared the ring. Raven then cut a promo on Abyss and the Redshirts challenging them to a cage match next week on TNA. If Raven wins, he gets his title shot at Jarrett. If he loses, that'll cost him his chance at destiny.

NWA Total Nonstop Action: The Gathering [Raven, CM Punk & Julio Dinero] vs. Redshirt Security [Legend & Kevin Northcutt] & Abyss: (12.07.03)

NWA Total Nonstop Action: The Gathering [Raven, CM Punk & Julio Dinero] vs. Redshirt Security [Legend & Kevin Northcutt] & Abyss: (12.07.03) - Scott Hudson is in the back with Raven and The Gathering, Julio Dinero and CM Punk. Hudson talks about the importance of this night's match-up as its another obstacle Raven must hurdle to make his way to his destiny: the NWA World Heavyweight Championship:

Raven: "You would think that I would be frustrated ... you would think that I would be annoyed that Jeff Jarrett continues to put people in my path in order to stop my quest for the NWA World Heavyweight title. But see, I kinda enjoy it. I enjoyed snapping Ryan Wilson's arm like a twig. I'm gonna enjoy hurting Abyss, Northcutt and Legend tonight. The Gathering -- together again, one time only."

CM Punk: "We're not gonna let you down, boss."
Julio: "No way, boss."
CM Punk: "We'll change your mind. This isn't going to be one time only. But we've got your back tonight!"

Raven: "One time only. Quote the Raven, nevermore."
A video airs recapping the feud between Raven and Redshirt Security leading up to this one-time only reunion of The Gathering.

Redshirt Security and Abyss make their way to the ring first. Raven's entrance video came on and the 3 members of the faction came to the ring reunited for one night only, as Raven had stated earlier in his promo. Dinero and Punk started off, working over Northcutt, as well as taking down Legend whenever he ran in. When Abyss finally came in, Raven took him down with a superkick. The match was chaos, with Dinero bodyblocking the Red Shirts to the floor. Raven hit the Raven Effect on Abyss and got a 3 count pin on him, but the referee was watching the fight on the floor, so the win eluded the Gathering. TNA Management Consultant Don Callis came in with a chair, but Raven ran him off. Raven picked up the chair but Abyss speared it into Raven and got the pin at the six minute mark.

WINNERS: Abyss, Kevin Northcutt & Legend via Pinfall.

Post-match, Punk and Dinero fought off Abyss, then the Red Shirts, but Abyss ran back in and chokeslammed Punk and Dinero at the same time. Abyss and the Red Shirts then proceeded to lay a massive beating on Raven until Punk and Dinero came back in with chairs for the save.

Raven Promo - As TNA goes off the air, a bloodied Raven closes the show with a promo challenging Abyss to a one-on-one single match next week on NWA/TNA:

"I'm still breathing, Abyss! I'm still breathing! They say nothing escapes from a black hole ... I just did! Next week, you and me, Abyss. You've already felt it once and I promise you, you will feel it again! You will feel what has come to be known as The Raven Effect. I got two words for you: internal hemorraging. I think you hear me knockin' ... I think I'm coming in. Quote the Raven, nevermore."
