TNA Xplosion: Raven vs. Scott Fowler: (09.08.04) - Raven came to the ring wearing a straight jacket, reflecting his mental state after not being able to put away Sabu the way he wanted and suffering an upset loss to Sonjay Dutt in the Hangman's Horror match of his own creation. The victim who was to face the brunt of Raven's frustration was Scott Fowler, who Raven decimated quickly in a complete show of domination from Raven as he put him down with The Raven Effect.

Portland Wrestling: Raven vs. Dr. Luther: (09.03.04) - This was Raven's first match back in the Oregon territory since his days as Scotty the Body over 13 years ago. Raven wrestled against Dr. Luther in the main event in a wild brawl that saw Dr. Luther use some of Raven's arsenal of moves against him, such as the drop toe hold on a chair. However, Raven went back to the well of his Extreme days after whacking Luther with a vicious shot from a stop sign mocked up as a crowd support sign for Raven from a hardcore fan. Raven eventually gets the win over Luther with The Raven Effect, which pissed off Luther even more. As Raven was leaving to his merchandise stand he challenged him anew and Ravenw a shappy to oblige him. Raven came back and Dr. Luther got the upper hand on him when Damon Scythe, a former friend of Dr. Luthers, came out and saved Raven.
