TNA iMPACT: Raven Appearrance: Mikey Batts vs. Cassidy Riley: (07.29.05) - Cassidy Riley has been a Raven supporter as of late had this match against Batts of Team Canada fame. At the close, Rhino interfered in the match-up -- goring both Riley and Batts. Jeff Jarrett showed up and piledrove Batts. Raven arrived and then confronted the two of them. The lights went out and SABU appeared! Sabu hit a triple jump moonsault on Rhino and evened out the odds, setting up Raven/Sabu vs. Jarrett/Rhino at Sacrifice.

TNA iMPACT: Raven Interview Segment (07.22.05) - At 30 minutes in, the NWA World Champion Raven makes his way to the ring to the strains of "Scream." He drops to the corner and drapes the NWA Title over his shoulder as he addresses the crowd:
"You see, plans are like tyrants, the simpler they are, the easier they are to execute. And my plan Sunday at No Surrender was simple; I was going to take more punishment than Abyss and I was going to outlast him. I ripped my back to shreds taking an Evenflow in a pile of thumbtacks, but I figured ... I figured the only way to insure he landed in the thumbtacks was for me to land in them as well. And then .. and then .. and then .. and then, Jeff Jarrett came down. Jeff Jarrett with his little buddy, Rhino, as an insurance policy. Jeff Jarrett, Jarrett/Raven, Raven/Jarrett - always trying to steal my thunder before I could bask in the glow of a hard fought victory, Jeff Jarrett showed up. I have come to the conclusion, that TNA is not big enough for the two of us and one of us is going to have to go. Jarrett/Raven ... Raven/Jarrett ... Jarrett/Raven ... RAVEN/JARRETT -- ARRGHHH!!! I am so fed up ... so I've come to the conclusion Jeff Jarrett and I are going to have to end it once and for all. Jeff Jarrett, you can't run from me and you can't hide from me because there will be no escape. You see, you are an infection polluting infecting the very air that I breathe. However, I am a human cancer and I will --"
[Jarrett cuts in and bitches at Raven demanding his title back and mocking Raven to the strains of Jarrett sucks. Jarrett wants his title back.]
"You know, Jarrett, you are at the top of my list of schemers, dreamers and the deluded. And when I'm done with you, the only thing you're going to be qualified for is an autopsy. You want my belt? Here, come get it!"
Jarrett tries to distract Raven so Rhino can gore him, but Raven ducks him and they trade blows. Jarrett comes in the rign and they start to brawl. Rhino then takes his shot and gores Raven and the 2 beat on Raven as Jarrett locks on the figure 4 as the announcers note that Raven has no allies.

TNA No Surrender PPV: Abyss w/ Father Mitchell vs. Raven: (07.17.05) - Abyss took on Raven for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Chain Dog Collar Match This match was as violent and barbaric as you can get. Raven filled the ring with steel chairs, while Abyss just batted them away. The blood began flowing after Raven brought out the staple gun and put some staples in the forehead of the monster, Abyss. It wasn’t long before Raven himself wore a crimson mask. Tables, chairs, staple guns, chains, and tacks! Everything these men could use to hurt their opponent worse, they did. Cassidy Riley (Raven’s newest supporter) came down to help him out, but was sent crashing through a table below. Raven then powerbombed Abyss on the tacs from the top rope. Unbelievable!!!!! Raven retained the title with an Evenflow DDT to Abyss on the tacks.
WINNER: Raven via Pinfall
Jeff Jarrett then came out to the ring and had some choice words for the Champ. Jarrett then told Raven to turn around and he was met with a Gore by Rhino! Rhino has made his TNA debut, putting down the NWA World Heavyweight Champion as the Pay-Per-View went off the air!
ICW: Raven & Billy Gunn vs. Norman Smiley & Al Snow: (07.15.05) - Raven interfered in this one on one match-up between Smiley and Gunn to help Gunn. Al Snow shows up to help Smiley. It turns into an impromptu tag team match-up and the face team of Smileya nd Snow win out over the TNA heels Raven and Gunn.
WINNERS: Norman Smiley and Al Snow via Pinfall

TNA iMPACT: Raven Activity: (07.15.05) - Cassidy Reilly is seen in the back talking with Terry Taylor, thanking Raven for saving him from Abyss last week. Taylor thinks Reilly is crazy, mentioning the time when Raven broke his fingers in the WWE on HEAT. Reilly says Raven did it for him, not to him and says he has Raven's back whenever he needs it.
We go backstage to a promo between James Mitchell the Sinister Minister and Abyss. Minister delivered on his promise to lead Abyss to take on Raven the newly crowned champion. He cals Raven a fool for being chained to a monster like Abyss who can obliterate him and leave him crippled and broken to take the belt. No matter how much Raven cries, Raven cannot surrender and he did it to himself.
Raven is backstage and delivers a speech to Jim Mitchell:
Raven: "Jim Mitchell, perhaps that intercranial enema you gave yourself has made you slightly psychotic. Because what you're doing essentially is you're asking Abyss to commit suicide by entering this contest. You know, maybe you'd be better off telling him to lay in a bathtub and throw a toaster in after him because it'd be much less painful that what I have in store for him. Abyss, you've hurt me .. you've brutalized me, but what you don't seem to understand is, I enjoy pain! So all you've done is get me excited! Because in 2 days, I'm going to beat you, and batter you and bloody you so unmercifully that you are going to beg to say the words "I quit." Except that's not an option! Because this is a dog collar match which means we are tied together by a dog collar - a chain of at least 8 to 10 feet. And the words "No Surrender" - there'sa reason they are in the title. Because you are not allowed to surrender. The match only ends when I decide to pin you! Which I may never decide to do. The only way I believe you're getting out of that ring is as a corpse. So it is written, so it shall come to pass, Quote the Raven ... nevermore!"

TNA iMPACT: Raven Appearance: Abyss vs. Cassidy Reilly: (07.08.05) - Raven runs in to attack Abyss during the match after Abyss has taken out Reilly with a Black Hole Slam. Raven clears the ring with a chain and stands tall, only to have Abyss and The Sinister Minister rally and hang Raven from the ring using the chain as a noose until security breaks it up and saves the TNA Champion Raven.

TNA iMPACT: Raven Appearance: Abyss [w/Sinister Minister Jim Mitchell] vs. Sonny Siaki: (07.01.05) - Abyss defeats Siaki with ease after a Black Hole Slam. After the match, Abyss grabs the chain. Apollo comes into the ring with a chair. Jim Mitchell comes into the ring to talk to Abyss. Abyss leaves the ring, but then he comes back and attacks Apollo when he turns his back. Abyss chokes Apollo. Abyss wedges the chair into the turnbuckles and then he gets the chain and puts it around Apollo’s neck. From out of nowhere, Raven comes in and Abyss punches Raven and gives him a big boot. Raven with an Evenflow DDT and then Raven gets the chain and wraps it around Abyss’s throat. Raven pulls the chain and it sends Abyss into the steel chair in the corner. Raven gets a mic. He tells Abyss that at No Surrender, since they have a title match, let’s make it interesting. How about a dog collar match if Abyss likes bringing chains with him? If the show is called No Surrender, make the match No Surrender. No throwing in the towel and no quitting. The only way to win the match is by pinfall.
