raven's blog stardate . . . uh, i'm not sure what the date is.
my calendar is buried under a mountain of paperwork b/c i have been under the weather with the flu. i hate the fucking flu. the flu can suck my dick. i had to fly to england and back and wrestle with the flu, it sucked. i also had to fly to england and back to wrestle, while i was the wrestling with the flu . . . no? nothing? . . . think about it . . . c'mon think about it . . . . no ? fuck you.
i wrestled for the newly owner-ed 1pw and it was great. the crowd was monstrous and totally in to everything. me and sterling james keenan, went 30 or so minutes for the 1pw title, which was almost won by a table that no sold everything (big road warrior fan). after legitimately 20 plus attempts at table breakery, we both tapped, but the ref was distracted so the table didnt get the win. from that point we both eliminated the table and resumed our contest much worse for the wear. finally, during what was an unbelievably exciting finish (this i know, b/c it was so fascinating that steve corino who was watching from the run-in position was so mesmerized by the brilliant contest that he forgot to run in) i did the job to the sadness of the thousands in attendance and the millions reading this blog. of course as soon as the adrenaline wore off, i became ill again, resumed my flu, and caught the first flight out of old blighty.
besides the paperwork clogging, there are also an inordinate number of valuable comics making a home for themself on my desk. i am currently evaluating their condition, and grading their value so we can place them on the ebay store. we havent been able to put up anywhere near as much as we want on ebay (but the stuff is coming), b/c of my schedule, but time is a luxury we can afford. if anyone is looking for that perfect xmas, kwanza, hannukah, birthday, retirement, election, white collar crime, get out of jail, get in jail or bachelor party gift, look no further. go to stores.ebay.com/theraveneffectcom

the new christian slater show, my own worst enemy rocks. as does the mentalist, sort of a shoot version of psych. if psych is pro wrestling, then the mentalist is mma. or if the mentalist is florida champioship wrestling, then psych is memphis.also, good but not quite as good is eleventh hour. i saw the original bbc version which had patrick stewart in the rufus sewell role and i thought patrick stewart was much better. i mean c'mon, just superglue scrap pieces of junk metal in random places to your kid sister and her friends, or possibly your niece and hers and then speak to them repeatedly in a very authoritativel, deeply theatrical, and upper crust british accent " The Line Must be Drawn Here !!!" while pretending they are the borg. at all costs, do not be assimilated. i think you see what i mean. i think sewell is better as a heel, and he isnt as good with the american accent as house is.
speaking of house, house's heel (he already was a heel, heeler?) turn on wilson by killing his girlfriend sort of has made for some compelling television. but now after a brutal period of sadness for house and his private dick, he and wilson have now reformed their tag team and i sense championship gold in the future.
