To all my Kool Aid drinkers;
It is time for all of us to grow as people, or at least watch me grow as people. On July 8th, at Cozzy's, in Newport News, Va. (type in cozzys.com on your web browser) it is the opening night of my intergalactic stand up career. So far, I am only booked on this planet, but I got a hook-up on alpha centauri. Therefore, in order to be a part of this momentous occasion, you will of course need to buy unripe fruit, rehearse your best heckles (for the other comedians of course) and show up at Cozzy's in Newport News Virginia. I believe tickets are 15$ which is highly reasonable, unless you dont have 15 dollars.
If you live nowhere near Newport News, you should fly in . . . but you will have to get your own hotel room b/c I dont think I can fit all of you in mine. Besides, if my dog decides to accompany me, he will probably eat you. That is, if he's not to busy licking his non-existent balls.
Do not expect wrestling stories, this is actual stand-up. Unless of course I get tired and then I might sit down. But more than likely I'll stand up. Unless they get a bed, and then I'll probably take a nap. But I promise, if I take a nap, I do talk in my sleep so it'll be just like I'm awake, I think . . . Honestly, I really have no idea what I say in my sleep. I'd ask my wife but either she's already asleep, or is so sick of my blathering all day that she's already tuned me out since lunch. Actually, I'm kidding about that, I'm still asleep at lunch.
Show up, or dont, I'm going for that passive-aggressive thing now. Aggravating isnt it? Just cause you dont go (cheapskate), doesnt mean other people wont go and you'll miss all the hot watercooler talk the next day. Although, if you think about it, you really should get the watercooler fixed. I mean c'mon, who really wants only hot water, especially on a really warm day.
